  We had a great time at this hotel, we loved it and have booked again for next year!

  We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 2 boys aged 9 and 8 in October. We had a fantastic week in the sun! The hotel was very clean, all staff were very friendly with smiles on their faces. My boys loved the big pool, especially the giant pillow and spent hours on it! There is a lifeguard at each pool. The food was good, we enjoyed the pool bar for lunch most days. The buffet was good, however at times food was cold. I did mention this to the chef about the chips and he immediately got fresh ones put on and brought out. Breakfast was a good variety and pancakes were the favourite! Our room was lovely, clean and in a great spot, before arriving we had emailed to request a room with a sunny balcony in the afternoon and when checking in the staff member told us they had allocated this to us which was great. Our boys loved the football pitch and bouncy castle. The entertainment was ok, the kids disco was good for younger ones but a lot of the songs we felt were not very upbeat, a bit boring. Maybe that’s because our kids are slightly older and based on our experience in other places. But they did all look like they were enjoying it! There is a couple of shops across from the hotel at the roundabout, a lot of things were closed or closing down for the season when we were there. 5 minute walk to the lighthouse which has superb sunset views. 10/15 minute walk to the harbour and small beach. We loved snorkelling here and saw lots of fish which ate food from our hands!   Top rated hotel - staff, food, pools..

  What a wonderful hotel.. Manuel and all of the staff were amazing (particularly when my husband took quite ill and the holiday had to be extended). Genuinely excellent level of care for myself and the children whilst we navigated it! The food was excellent - so much choice and the gluten free selection was great and always staff on hand to check and look at alternatives! GF pasta or pizza made to order every day! Just wish we’d had even more time to use all the facilities! Will definitely be back!   We have just returned from our stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean with helpful pleasant, friendly staff. Located about 1 hr from airport , we had a private transfer which was quicker. Cala Bosch small and quiet , nice harbour. good spot by the Lighthouse for sunset views. Food was Ok plenty to choose from. The hotel is very family orientated excellent for children. however compared to other 4 star hotels we have stayed in , it was lacking in some areas, the rooms were a bit sparse , rooms werent cleaned on Sundays or the day before we left, only basic toiletries , We were in block 2 on the upper floor no lift. Overall this hotel is probably a very good 3 star not 4.

  We had an amazing time at this hotel. Loved that people don’t reserve sun beds and plenty to go around. The food and drinks were amazing. The staff were all so good including the amazing cleaning team!I would have given 5 stars but the reason for 4 was the lack of signage at the buffet for what food was and the allergies. If that was better I would give 6 stars. We are coming back next year as we did really enjoy it!

  This was our second Zafiro hotel experience and we enjoyed our stay. This is a very well positioned hotel in a lovely area of Menorca, 10 mins stroll to the first beach and less than that to the lovely marina where you’ll find a plethora of bars and restaurants of varying quality and cost. The food choice at the hotel is very good, not 5* but very good 4*. Only thing is sometime things go cold quite quickly and are not replaced when they do, particularly on the children’s counter. Decent choices for the kids but a bit repetitive. Food at the poolside restaurant is very good with excellent choices.Great selection at the All inc bar with a good choice of decent quality international brands of spirits and served without question to whatever strength you prefer. The wine and beer in the restaurant is on tap for you to help yourself which is handy 😳🥂. The overall cleanliness of the complex is outstanding and the pool area and pools are cleaned every morning before 9.00am the pools remain spotless all day as there’s no leaves etc to blow into the water. ALL the staff, without exception are extremely friendly and pleasant and can’t do enough for you. Rooms are well designed and larger than your average hotel room. Every room in the hotel is the same size and design, one bedroom, lounge/kitchen with bed settee and decent sized showroom. No two bed rooms available. This is definitely a “ family “ hotel and not one I would recommend for couples who want a quiet holiday. That said, it’s not rowdy but there are always plenty of children about, day and night. The two main complaints from us is the quality of the evening entertainment for adults is quite low standard, but not poor, just could be better and it all finishes a bit early. Bar stays open till 11.30pm but you’ll be on your own ! All the above said, we went as a couple in mid Sept and expected a quiet time as kids were back in school, but there were so many family’s with prams a go go and this resulted in a noisy restaurant at times, particularly at breakfast. But, we realised that our grandkids would love it here so are returning the week after next with the family for half term. Keep up the good work Zafiro and see you again soon. We will also be looking to see which other Zafiro hotels in the group we would like to visit next 😘
