  Brilliant location, all the facilities required. The apartment owned and rented by Unitersa was clean with all the necessary basic essentials. Only complaint would be the reception is at Turmalina complex and is a fair walk away for people who are senior citizens. You have to go there to collect keys and make payment, and if you want to hire a security box, again it is situated there. A fair walk whenever you need some cash or item of jewellery. Good use of electronic tag and keys to gain access to Hipocampus. Booking in process easy and everything organised apart from the walk back and forth the reception.

  We were meant to stay in coral beach apartments but got updgraded to the hippocampus. We had to treck to find the keys from another hotel on arrival but appart from that we had an amazing stay. We stayed on the 10th floor, the appartments seemed deserted at the time of arrival because it was out of season. But the views where absolutely spactualr from the appartment, we awoke to early morning sunrises overlooking the beach. Ther was also a lovely balcony with deck chairs and a table, a large lounge area containing a tv but the tv didn’t have English channels so we didn’t really use it. There was also a kitchen with a large fridge, oven and microwave, and the supermarket was a very short wall away. The appartment felt very safe and secure and contained everything one would need for an enjoyable stay. We would defiantly go back and stay here again, calpe is a lovely place. Benidorm was easily accessible by bus and train, would defiantly recommend.

  Had a self catering holiday in Calpe with our grand children and could not have a better location. We had a really good apartment with lots of room and all the facillities you could want. We had good supermarkets, bars and restaurants on the doorstep but most important of all had views of the sea and sand that would be hard to beat. We were a hundred yards from the beautiful beach and prom and great views. It was the end of the season and things were closing but there was still plenty of choices for eating places and a vibrant and safe town.Excellent value and beautiful location.

  We stayed at this block of apartments first week of July. The location and view from our apartment were excellent. The cleanliness was extremely poor and we were even charged 120 euros for the cleaning. There was also an additional nightly charge for air conditioning which was inefficient and blows uncooled air no matter what the setting. Very expensive for what you get. Try somewhere else.

  Stayed here for a four week break with friends. Fab location and our apartment had a sea view. 20mtrs from beach (lovely beach too). The apartment was small but ok for four. Beds were hard and one pillow had a very strange spring thing embedded in it lovely shaded patio which was needed in the heat. The apartment was clean although the previous occupants left their rubbish which was still there when we arrived. Didn’t go in the pool but the area looked clean. We didn’t try it as we didn’t see any sunshades which would be needed in the sun. Good walks to the old town (bout 45 mins). Local bars selling good food and drinks. Recommend Tango bar! Really frustrated with the lock to the apartment block which we struggled with every time to get in. Twice it was lucky others let us in! Never saw anyone in the reception. Picking up keys was a concern but needn’t have been. 5 mins walk away and easy to find Overall good for short break.
