  Lovely central hotel

  We enjoyed a week long stay in this very nice place. The location is fantastic in the old town near the Cathedral, with a short walk to the beach and all the local plazas where lots of nice restaurants are situated. It's a beautiful,old and quirky building and we stayed in a room designed for 4. There was only 2 of us, so it was great. It was room 3. It has 2 bedrooms and a living area. There isn't much natural light but that didnt bother us too much as we were out during the day. There is a nice bathroom, and a mini fridge, stocked each day with water and soft drinks which are complementary. The beds are very comfortable, and there are bathrobes and L'Occitane products which are nice touches. There isnt much storage - hanging rails rather than wardrobes and cupboards which didnt have any shelves or drawers. In our room there was a window that opened onto the street but no balcony, although some rooms do have a balcony. The staff are helpful. There is a cafe which is part of the hotel, which serves breakfast, which is also open to the public. It's nice, but there are lots of other options around also. The roof terrace was undergoing renovations while we were there, which was a pity, as it would have been nice to chill outdoors at the hotel, but that wasn't possible. I would happily come back, but I'd really like the roof terrace to be open, just to have somewhere to relax and read a book. We deducted one star because of the roof terrace being unavailable...otherwise, it would be 5 stars

  A Secret Gem of a Hotel.

  Central location and an excellent adult styled hotel. An exquisite old building with high ceilings and beautiful architecture and rooms. 24/7 reception, rooms have minibar/safe/coffee-Tea making facilites, walk in shower, robes etc. Daily complimentary toiletries & bottled water which was a nice touch. Rooms spacious and clean with daily maid service. Prices vary depending on time of year you go but if you book in advance, you can get a great deal! We will definitely be going again as it was very good indeed.

  Fantastic location, close to everything, and a very cool concept of preserving and repurposing an old building.Unfortunately, our stay was nothing like we had expected. There were signs of mold in the bathroom and a constant, disgusting smell coming from it. It was worse than the worst public restroom — we could barely stay in the room because of it. We reported this to the staff four times, but each time they pretended not to remember which room it was and refused to acknowledge the problem. Avoid this hotel if you can.Additionally, the room had poorly thought-out details and furniture. It did not feel fresh or clean at all

  Super boutique hotel with a great location - right in the heart of the city - and the were staff very friendly. Everything you need in the rooms for a short stay. Would recommend and visit again!

  Beautiful Hotel

  We booked this hotel after a friend's recommendation and it certainly delivered. It's an old building that has been beautifully restored. Whilst the room was small it was OK for a one night stay (not much hanging space for clothes if staying for a few nights). It is perfectly situated right beside the cathedral in the heart of the old town with lots of restaurants in the surrounding streets whilst also being within an easy stroll of the promenade and Port area. We took the Breakfast option which is served in the adjoining Bistro accessed via reception. It was a lovely continental spread and was delicious and set us up for the day, the bistro was busy with walk- ins too and many people seemed prepared to wait for a table which tells us its a popular place to eat. Whilst we just spent the one night here wr have already said that we will certainly visit again for a slightly longer stay.
