This beach hotel has an ideal location next to St Barbara's castle and is a few metres from El Postiguet beach and the Marina. In 100 metres guests can find a shopping centre with restaurants and leisure services and the historic and shopping centre is 1 km from the hotel. Nearby the hotel there is a tram stop with a connection to several towns in the Costa Blanca area and theme parks such as Terra Mitica, Terra Natura and Aqualandia. El Altet Airport is 12 Km away.

Facility

194 rooms, including 20 single rooms, are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas.     Not the best to be honest. my flight was pushed one day later and I ask if I could stay and they were just very ignorant . The too. Was so dirty full of hair and dust everywhere.     Having travelled to this hotel on the 9/04/2026 accompanied by my two daughters for a procedure with healthcare abroad in a local Vithas Hospital. We were allocated a triple room (116). But unfortunately our journey turned sour quickly as there were two bags of clothing which my girls purchased in Alicante were removed from our room. We got little or no help from the General Manager Martin Modica accept to say they could not accept responsibility for the loss of items that were not secured in the room safety deposit box or were they prepared to accuse any staff. Firstly I was not aware safety deposit boxes were for anything other than passports, money and jewellery as shopping bags would not fit in this small space. He advised me they reviewed camera footage of the cleaning and that his staff member that cleaned the room was with them for 28 years this led me to believe they did not review footage as the girl who cleaned our room was in her 20s as I left her into the room on the day our bags went missing myself. I would not under any circumstances recommend staying at this hotel. We regret any confusion regarding the staff you may have seen in the hallways, but our records are precise.As previously stated, the hotel cannot accept liability for objects not stored in the safety deposit box, nor can we make accusations without evidence.     Very good check in staff and Benjamin in the dining room was really helpful. Hotel rooms about Travel Lodge standard,except no kettle or cups or tea,coffee in room.You have to ask for a kettle and cups at reception 🤔 The breakfast was poor quality,unripe fruit, everything just bog standard catering food. The coffee was lovely but I had to ask for the machine to be cleaned before I would use it.I was disappointed with breakfast.Benjamin was great trying to find some food for me as I am seriously dairy intolerant. The hotel was informed beforehand. The swimming pool was lovely but quite deep.Lots of traffic noise around the pool as the hotel is in between two roads. The tram stop is just across the road so easy to get into Alicante.     40th Wedding Anniversary ( 3rd Time Visit)

    This was our 3rd visit to this hotel ( now under new ownership as we understand) On our arrival, we were dealt with at Reception by Pedro & Monica. They were both very courteous, friendly & attentive. On directing us to our room (704), we found it to be well aired & spotlessly clean. Our room was well attended by the housemaids, ensuring that bedding towels & general cleanliness were always maintained to very high standards throughout our 8 day stay. Our balcony had lovely views of the Santa Barbara Castle & towards the centre of Alicante. It was also a bonus that the sun shone into our balcony for most of our stay. Below us, we had views of the hotel pool & bar area. Breakfast was varied, plentiful & tasty. All of the staff on duty were also friendly, courteous & attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & plan to return sometime soon. A big thanks to everyone who looked after us during our stay. You were a credit to yourselves & the hotel. Best regards to all.     I am very disappointed with my recent stay at your hotel.Firstly, the room did not have a kettle, which I consider a basic amenity. When we requested tea from reception, we were given only two tea packets despite there being four guests, which felt inadequate and poorly handled.Additionally, although we had booked two rooms together, they were allocated far from each other, which was inconvenient and not in line with our expectations at the time of booking.Most concerning, however, was the behavior of the reception staff (two female staff members on duty). We found them to be quite rude and unhelpful, which significantly impacted our overall experience.I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both its in-room facilities and the standard of customer service, as this stay did not meet expected standards.
