  Sometimes I’m a bit sceptical of tripadvisor reviews as they can seem a bit too good to be true but in the case of Liberty Lykia, the fantastic reviews are all justified!This is unquestionably one of the best run hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The food is exceptionally good with a choice so huge we couldn’t believe our eyes. The staff are absolutely brilliant - almost immediately when you took a seat at the buffet there would be someone there taking your drinks order. The bars and snack areas were just as good. I have no bad words about any of the staff: they were all professional, polite and friendly. They seemed happy to be there (which can be a rare thing). The entertainment staff were also very fun and friendly (shout out to Mr Happy!). There is something for everyone at this hotel. The adults only infinity pool has stunning views and a lovely snack bar next to it where you can get freshly made salads and pasta. The Tlos pool near the kids adventure area is heated (at least in April) which we were really grateful for on some of the cooler April days. The slides at the kids area were great fun… even for us oversized, overaged kids! On one day we paid €25 to use the adults only hotel next door, where we had breakfast lunch and dinner but we weren’t quite as impressed with the service or the selection as we were in the main hotel buffet but the facilities were absolutely beautiful. The whole place is absolutely spotlessly clean. I could not believe how immaculate the buffet area was kept particularly. To think hundreds if not thousands of people are eating there each night and there is not a crumb in sight is so impressive. I absolutely LOVED the coffee shop in the main square area. As a coffee lover it was a real treat to have incredible, premium coffees included in our package. We only went to the Patisserie next door on the last day as well (probably for the best because it would have been bad for my waistline had I discovered it earlier) the baked cheesecake in there was SPECTACULAR. The only thing we missed really was a lack of shuttle bus to the local town and sites. Sometimes you feel like the taxi drivers are ripping you off a little bit and the public buses weren’t all that reliable. We’d have been more than happy to pay for a shuttle bus into the town. There is not much more for me to add except congratulations to the management and the staff for creating such a wonderful experience. There’s not many places I would return to but this is CERTAINLY one of the ones I’d come back to in a heartbeat!

  Perfect 40th Anniversary

  Stayed 3rd to 10th April. We were in adults only for 40th wedding anniversary. It was early in season so weather mixed but the quality of this accommodation made up for that. Room 729 sea view was perfect. All inclusive plus with amazing choice of food and drinks. All the staff were so helpful and pleasant. Seven nights of luxurious heaven. I hope to return soon.
