The hotel was what you paid for I guess. Positives CentralAir conditioning Powerful shower Negatives Twin room with balcony , one mattress has collapsed completely, asked at reception, only to be treated by a hostile man who said he couldn’t understand me and then could . Suddenly , we can move your room to the other side, no view (were his words) . Broken fixtures. Dirty sheets. Lucky to have a balcony, pigeon poop on it, not once cleaned. Sad to say but I wouldn’t go back. The female staff at reception were friendly but the male staff not so much. Apart from , one night man. As I said . great location and air conditioning was a god send. I’d say this is a 2/3 star hotel.

Rudest Man in Spain on Reception! Don't walk run from this hotel!

Where can I start!! Our flight was cancelled due to the power outage. We made the decision to come into Alicante and this was the first hotel that came up when we searched and in a panic thought that will do. The worst decision ever made! We called the hotel from the airport to make sure rooms were available and we were told yes at €80 a night. We arrived to be told it was actually €90 because of the power outage??? The man on reception was by far the rudest man I have ever met in my life (slicked back grey hair and beard)! I wonder how the hotel is still running If this is how he greets all his guests! If it wasn't nearly 12 midnight I would have left there and then. Then there was the room, back to the 70's, one power socket run on an adaptor, the door to the room locked with a tiny bolt, the shower sprayed nearly beyond the bath with the shower head unable to move, the shower rail was hanging off, bathroom smell was vile, my partner nearly got locked in the bathroom because of the dodgy handle, walls are paper thin and the noise of furniture moving on a morning is very loud, the list goes on and on. My partner actually loved the decor saying he felt like he was going back in time. It's the last time I let him book a room for us! If you like a pleasant reception with a clean room do not book this hotel!!!

I’ve spent only one night here. It is well located in the city centre with everything within walking distance. This hotel has underground parking for 10 EUR per night. The room is quite large, everything looks old but that is not a problem 😊 Bed is very comfortable. In general – great for a short stay.

Very dated hotel. All furniture and fittings old fashion. All Floors are solid. No carpets. Kept awake by noise of people walking about and making noise coming back to rooms. Walls are thin and could even hear next door flushing the toilet. Hardly slept and definitely do not recommend staying here.

The small staff are mostly friendly. One on departure was a bit gruff. No smile.I have stayed in this hotel so this stay was not too surprising or disappointing. The hotel is clean but it looks like there hasn't been an update for 30 years.The room safe is key operated and a key can be rented for €2 per day. It is also too small for even a 12" laptop.The bathroom is very old. Several stains on the tiles and the washbasin is cracked. The towels are sufficient. The shower pressure is sufficient.The television is quite old - but sufficient.The bed has only one pillow.The door key is large and not a scan card.So it is a one or two star hotel.But the price is low. Maybe not low enough. Also it is quite close to Luceros tram terminal and Alicante train station.A substantial repair or complete rebuild is needed.
