Location

Located close to the Rambla Alicante and within a short distance of the old town, this hotel lies some 500 m from the nearest inviting beach. Restaurants, bars, nightclubs and links to the public transport network are to be found close by and the centre where guests will discover a selection of shopping and entertainment is about 50 m whilst the station is 1 km from the hotel. Transfer to Alicante Airport takes about 15 minutes.

Facility

20 single rooms and 65 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Other services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine. 2 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The sports and entertainment facilities at the hotel ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including a gym, callisthenics and a spa.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant with air conditioning and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    The hotel is very well situated for getting about Alicante. The castle, Bullring, promenade and the beach are all within an easy walk and there are an endless amount of restaurants within a ten minute stroll. Our room was on the small side with a massive bed filling most of it. The room was clean and had everything you need. The breakfast is where the hotel falls down unfortunately. There is a good choice of food available but the hot food is not hot or on one morning especially it was cold and we were at breakfast at 7.30. All of the staff were very nice and helpful when you asked.     Good Central Location - Little Improvements Needed In Room.

    We were returning guests to Occidental having stayed in August 2025 - we had a very comfortable stay then so were happy to return. This time we didn't enjoy it quite as much, sadly. Solely in relation to some niggly things in the room - the toilet seat was loose it was fixed after I raised the issue twice, the large shower head was covered in green mould and mildew which I found quite shocking and did let staff know when we were leaving (we used the smaller clean shower head during our stay to avoid the mould) and there were some visible stains to the curtains near the bed. My husbands key card kept not working and had to get redone a few times and the TV got no signal on the English channels with it going on and off constantly.Other than that all the staff we encountered were pleasant, attentive and very helpful, the breakfast buffet was lovely and fresh, the bed was very comfy and the hotel is in a GREAT central location. If it wasn't for the things in the room it would have been 5 stars.
