Location

The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful garden only 150 m from Fossa beach and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a particularly attractive beach where guests can enjoy a relaxing walk along the sea. The resort is situated around 1.5 km from Calpe with the famous Peñón de Ifach and the Amusement Park Terra Mitica is only 20 km away. The airport of Alicante is roughly an hour away and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.

Facility

A suite and 192 double rooms are located on 16 storeys and can be reached by 4 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

    We stayed here for ten nights from the 16th of May and loved it. Ideal location, food was nice with plenty of choice, huge choice of sunbeds even after 10am without towels on them from 6am. Plenty of places to see and go to in the area. Market around the corner on a Saturday. All of the staff were lovely and accommodating. They even sent a bottle of sparkling wine to my room for my birthday, I was so touched by this gesture.     Don’t bother if your children want to play!No inflatables allowed in the pool, no jumping into the pool allowed! Socks available for €1 to allow the children to play in the football area or on the trampolines and the mini disco doesn’t start until 9:30pm a few times a weekBUTIf your a cyclist feel feel to ride you bike through the pool area, walk around the pool in your metal bike shoes and drag your dirty bike up to your room in the lift though the hotel!Definitely more family friendly hotels available for the price in the area Elena Montesinos, Otros at Hotel RH Ifach, responded to this review Dear AndrewThank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.We are sorry to hear that some of our hotel rules did not meet your expectations.     A fabulous stay at the Rh Ifach .

    My husband and I stayed at RH Ifach for 7 nights on half board basis from 16-23rd May. Our room was very spacious and modern with a lovely large balcony. Plenty of storage space. The room was peaceful as was the balcony. Breakfast was very good with a large choice of options, we never had the same thing twice. A good choice of fruit, yoghurts etc plus the cooked breakfast and omelettes made to order. Evening meal was perhaps not as good but we never struggled to find something we enjoyed and the salad buffet was great. We tend to use the hotel as a base so visited Altea, Calpe old town , Denia and a wonderful day tip to Valencia. We sat by the pool on our last day (today) and it was lovely and peaceful so not sure about the comment about the noise. There is building work in the area but it didn’t affect us at all. The pool was warm enough to swim in and plenty of children were happily playing. A great hotel that we would happily come back to. The hotel is in a great location for access to the promenade, you can walk to a couple of beaches very easily ( within 5 mins).     Holiday from hell.

    If you are coming here don’t!!! They are jet washing around the pool with a diesel generator and the noise is horrific. The management and staff don’t care. We are sat in our room with the balcony doors closed just to get some peace. And you can still hear it!! You work hard all year for a holiday and you get this. They are doing a section at a time so this will go on all summer. I cannot begin to describe how horrific it is. It would be quieter sat in a deck chair on the M25 in rush hour. They should be ashamed of themselves

    We were a family of 4 staying at the RH ifach in May 2026. There was several pros and cons with the hotel:Pros:- Great big hotel rooms with a massive hot tub in the bathroom (big hit for our kids).- Breakfast and lunch buffet was good - we thought there was a good selection, although after 3 days, we decided to eat on at the beachfront for lunches. - Great indoor warm pool, especially since the outdoor pool was freezing.- Great location and very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. - Reasonable prices for drinks and ice creams in the bars.Cons:- Very disappointing “kids club”. The place was rarely open (closed between 1 and 5) and limited “activities”, which was mainly a board game or a movie. Also, an adult HAD to be present at all times, whether the child is 3 or 12 years old. The “club” is a dark room in the basement with bare walls and no toys. - Freezing cold outdoor pool. I am aware that this is common in Spain, but it was too cold to swim in May. - At check-in, they forgot to inform us that we would have a voucher (60€) to spend during our stay. We did not know this until we had to settle our bill, the night before check-out. We had paid card for everything, so we didn’t get to use the entire voucher - disappointing!
