  Where do i start first night awful smell in the apartment. Front door hanging off the hinges. We had to sleep in our clothes no sheets 😩 never in all my 79year came across anything worse. No tv,No kettle nothing. Got no satisfaction from the hotel where we collect our keys.Would not accommate us in any way so we will just have to indure this for the next 10days or forfeit our moneys.   Lovely but missing something!

  It has been a while since I stayed at these apartments and I can say that they have been given a great makeover. The views out to sea watching the sunrise is lovely. What’s missing I hear you ask... a full length mirror and an English Channel on the tv. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartments it would have been nice to come back at end of day and watched something even if it is the news. Other than this I can’t fault it. Great location for bars and restaurants. Very reasonably priced and reception staff have been brilliant. We will come come back again.

  We did not realise that the apartments were a good 20 minute walk from the hotel where we had to check in, fortunately our trip was to look at some properties to purchase and the estate agent picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel and then to the apartments or we would have had to carry our cases down to the apartments ourselves.The apartments are really awful, loose plug sockets, exposed wires, we took a pillow out of the wardrobe to make up our bed to find dried blood spots on it. This was then reported to the hotel and it was replaced. There is a TV in the room, we had to give 20 euros at the hotel for the remote control !! which did not work, we then had to go and get another one and that didn't work either at which point we rang to get a technician down, he arrived with another remote which worked but he had a letter with him which said "as from 1/1/2015 there are no english channels in the apartments". Faulty Towers comes to mind.To be fair the Location of the apartments is fantastic, right on the beach, this was the only positive comment i could think of/

  the Riviera Beach apartments are exactly as described - 25mt from the beach.The apartment was comfortable and clean.But the directions off this web site were diabolical - we found the resort but after many phone calls one number was wrong the other on divert and not answered and after stopping to ask a lot of people none who knew the apartments after two hours and at midnight we finally found out that you check in at the Palmera Beach Hotel over a mile away - sort out your directions !

  I Have stayed in the riviera beach appartments twice and am making a third trip to pilar de las horadada in september. the appartments themselves are great. the only fault me and my friend had was that you can only plug a couple of electicals in a time. we are bouth in our early 20s so we needed, both our straightners in, mobile phone chargers and a light. all off a sudden it went pitch black. we later found out thats this was because we were using too many things at the same time. this was not too much of a problem and that was the only time it happened. the appartments are set facing the beach, and its lovely to sit on the balcony and just watch everyone having a great time on the beach. there are quite a few restaurants along the 'strip' and bars. most of them have english speaking waiters and waitresses which was great!! there is a supermarket near by which sells english and spanish foods and all the things you need on a daily basis. it also has a pharmasis about a 5 min walk away who is english!! there is a small town near by called torre de la horadada witch again has plenty of restaurants and bars. it also had gift shops and you can sit next to the beautiful harbour and enjoy a nice cold drink. it also has a tobbaconist.overall i love staying inb mil palmaras. and the appartments are perfect. espechially where they are situated.there is a market that comes once a week and twice throught the summer.
