    Thomas solo traveler from Ireland on 5 day vacation, it's my second time staying here and it won't be my last, everything from rooms to kitchen to bathroom shower location is absolutely amazing staff are also really nice 😊 best place Iv every stayed thanks so much market hostel I hope to be back very soon

    I’ve stayed in many hostels, but this one felt completely soulless. There’s hardly anyone at reception, and in the evenings, you’re left entirely on your own. If any issue arises, there’s no staff around to help. The 12-bed dormitories are cramped, stuffy, and poorly ventilated. It was uncomfortably cold because a window was left open, and you could hear all the noise from outside.To make matters worse, we had a very disruptive person in the dorm, shouting at 3 AM and slamming doors. Since no staff were present overnight, there was no one to manage the situation. The security is also concerning—lockers have flimsy locks that anyone could break easily.This hostel desperately needs 24-hour staff for both safety and guest support. Unless you’re on a tight budget and can tolerate these issues, I’d recommend looking for another place.

    No staff there at check in or check out so no one to help when needed. When contacted through booking site they were unhelpful and inflexible too. I moved after staying there for one night as i found there were loads of other options woth friendly staff

    Very clean hostel, you will see staff cleaning the whole hostel everyday.Provided with shampoo and body wash in the bathroom.But you have to bring your own lock for the locker (I didn't know but I had no problems storing my stuff as I stayed in the 4 bedroom dorm)It's a single floor hostel which makes everything more convenient. Very convenient location as you could just walk 3 mins to the food market (Mercat Central d'Alacant), traditional turrones shop (Espi), churro place (Cafeteria Churreria) for your Spanish breafast and supermarket (Supercor Exprés).I was lucky enough to meet so many friends from 7 other countries during my stay. Oh lala, chicaaa!

    The hostel is underground making it a bit dark. It has no cooker so you cant cook food. Showers are cold. If you want the staff to treat you well make sure you book on booking.com for at least one night so you can leave a review. If you pay without using booking expect to be treated badly. That's how they keep their review so high.There is one spanish receptionist that was very friendly and smiley. She was nice.
