Hotel Vila de MuroMuro de AlcoyThe hotel is closed. No sign of any reopening or new owners. it has been closed since late December, the hotel bar staff and reception staff were the most helpful, friendly of folk. They always had a smile and a friendly greeting.

The receptionist was brilliant spoke good English and so helpful made us feel real welcome and at ease.Underground free parking, good restaurant and breakfast.There was a wedding going on but the thoughtful receptionist put us out of the noise, didn't hear a thing.,

Lunch at Restaurante La Vil Leta

Excellente! We had lunch here for 4 and the food was excellent. The service was top notch and the kids were looked after and catered for. I recommend the Ibérico loin, truly amazing! The meal including 3 glasses of wine and soft drinks for the kids, 3 courses each came to €77 which I thought was good value. The only negative is it's a trek from Cocentaina; 10 mins in the car and sadly next to a petrol station and motorway. You'll see once you get here the photographer made the most of his shooting angles ;-). All in all the food was excellent and the service was first rate making this restaurant a great recommendation.

Expectations exceeded very helpful friendly staff always smiling and happy to help there was quite a few people there on business but it is also in a good location to enjoy the local town at your leisure good price good service stayed an extra night without a problem all in all a very decent hotel

Under-staffed and cold. Cafe but no restaurant

It appeared that the hotel was running on minimal overheads. The room was cold and the bed needed extra blankets. The reception area was being treated like a childrens playground. The restaurant (Vil.leta) was closed despite us having booked a table on internet the night before which had been acknowledged. The poor receptionist was multi-tasking acting as barmaid and waitress as ell as receptionist.Maybe we just picked the wrong time of year ?
