    Great value for the location

    rating26 Sept 2025

Excellent value for the location. We came on the train from Paris and the hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from Versailles Château Rive Gauche station. It's also less than 10 minutes to walk to the gates of Versailles. Room was fine, basic and functional, but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was tiny though! Breakfast was simple but all items were good quality. A limited range of snacks and light meals is available in the evening, e.g. pizza, which was very welcome on our first night when there was a huge storm with torrential rain and we didn't fancy getting soaked going out! The staff were great - always very friendly and helpful. We were happy with our stay and would definitely recommend. There's also a very good Italian restaurant around the corner (Pizzeria Cesar) where we ate the next night.

Ideal location for visiting the Palace.

Stayed here for 1 night, as wanted to explore the palace. Excellent value for money, location was fantastic. We paid €20 to park in the hotels carpark, which we felt reassured by the security of it. Rooms are small, yes, but for price paid and in the location it was, we were extremely happy. Staff and reception very friendly and we would recommend it.

Nothing special - great location though

Great location short walk to attractions.Room very basic. Resting on its laurels with its location.Wouldn’t need much money spent to be really good, however.Decent bed and breakfast however suitable for short stays only I would reckon.

Very average hotel room but in a great location.

We stayed here 2 nights whilst visiting and cycling around Versailles.I chose this hotel for its proximity to the chateau and gardens and in this respect it did not disappoint: it is a mere 2 blocks from the chateau entrance area and close to many restaurants and shops. It also has paid parking which was useful for us as we were travelling with a rental car.I thought that the breakfast at the hotel was good. Our room however was showing its age and was very small. They don’t turn the aircon on until mid- May so if you stay here before then you will want to hope that it is not hot. The walls are very thin so you will probably hear everything your neighbours do and they will hear you. The bathroom was tiny. On our second day there was a notice in the lobby near the lift advising that there would be no hot water until 7pm due to an emergency with the hot water system. In short, if you want to be close to the chateau of Versailles and are not too fussy about the standard of hotel that you stay in this would probably be an OK choice.

Great stay, superb staff and breakfast

    rating23 Feb 2025

The room was recently renovated. It was small but functional with a large TV. Very clean and just round the corner from the palace. Breakfast was continental but they serve scrambled eggs and cooked bacon although no toaster for some reason. We could not fault our experience.Parking was cheaper that paying 40 euros in the street and very secure.Great stay overall
