    Been to the harbour a few times, always a pleasant experience. The last few times I've been served very well by Vicy and Dean who assisted to my every need. pleasure to be served by them both !! highly recommend them both and the hotel!

    From the moment we arrived, we were treated so good. The staff were amazing - answered all our questions and were so helpful. The hotel is in a great location and easily within walking distance to the Spanish arch and downtown restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and we were happy to see it after a very long day of travelling.

    Room was decent, the heater kept turning off after a few hours, even in the middle of the night, without getting up to the set temperature. I had to ask the front desk and they said yeah that’s how they work, but they could override that feature. My room overlooked the carpark, so mostly kept the curtains closed so people couldn’t look in.My first night I went to the restaurant and it took forever for them to take my order and it was not busy. Three people said they’d be right back and no one came over. It seemed like no one was talking to the other and no one knew what they were doing. Finally the manager came over and asked if everything was ok. I said no I haven’t even ordered yet. He ended up taking my order. For breakfast the fruit was mostly from a can, pears/peaches and cut up melon. I’d expect more from a hotel of this class.

    This was our second time staying at the lovely Harbour Hotel in Galway. What an amazing experience! Clean rooms, perfect location, easy parking, the list goes on! However, the highlight of our experience was the front desk attendant, Steve. His welcoming demeanor and commitment to customer service made our stay! We cannot wait to be back in Galway and visit the Harbour Hotel again!
