Facility

The hotel has 7 single rooms and 35 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine are available.     Excellent small hotel in a great area for letting cap sights. Walking distance from metro and airport bus. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was good for 12 euros

    Small hotel located around 10 minute walk from the Las Ramblas Room was good but definitely worth paying a bit more for a room with a balcony as the rooms are quite small , good hot powerful shower.Rooms at the back are very noisy at night so take earplugs if your a light sleeper , no kettle in room but are available on request at reception Breakfast is very basic and the hot food was not hot just luke warm but was ok hot drinks available free between 12:00 and 20:00 which was a nice touch All staff are friendly we enjoyed our stay

    I recently stayed at Acta BCN 40 in Barcelona and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.The location is absolutely perfect - you’re within easy reach of all the major attractions and sites Barcelona has to offer, which made exploring the city a breeze.What really stood out, though, was the integrity and professionalism of the staff. I accidentally left my wallet in the room with $300 cash inside, and they immediately contacted me by email. Thanks to their honesty and quick response, I was able to retrieve it before leaving Barcelona. This kind of trustworthy service is rare and truly appreciated.I highly recommend Acta BCN 40 to anyone visiting Barcelona. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    What an excellent hotel this is. Great check in staff and lovely clean rooms. 6 of us staying in 3 rooms for our friend's birthday. Only a short stroll from Las Ramblas, with loads of bars and shops all around. Neighbourhood felt very safe. Lots of tips and help from reception staff.We didn't even scratch the surface of Barcelona, so would definitely stay here again.

    Decent choice close to Placa de Catalunya

    Stayed here for three nights in June 2025.Pros:1) The location is good. It is a short walk to the Placa de Catalunya. The closest metro station is a good 15 minute walk away. There are several eating and shopping options nearby.2) The front desk is manned 24 hours. The staff was helpful and courteous. 3) The rooms, bathrooms and lobby were all clean. 4) The WIFI was free and great speed and connectivity.5) There is a coin laundry facility close to the hotel.6) The place is quiet at night and the sleep quality was great.Cons:1) The room and bathroom was quite small.2) It costs 2 euros for the hotel to hold on to the luggage after check out.3) The hotel area isn't the safest place to walk around at nights. It is not dangerous, but you have to be aware of your surroundings.4) The tariff is on the higher side.
