Location

This hotel enjoys an excellent location in Barcelona. Only a few metres away, guests can find the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Las Ramblas, the districts of the Barri Gòtic and El Born, the cathedral, the sea port and Palau Güell, as well as important museums such as the Picasso and MACBA. The beach is roughly 2.5 km from the hotel. Barcelona Airport is situated approximately 12 km away.

    Overall very pleasant stay, Great location down side road,Pleasant staff, Hotel rooms dated ours 310 the floor had gaps in the boarding , I found the beds comfortable, wife found them a bit firm, No coffee or tea making facilities, but was free coffee available in the lounge area, Room reasonable clean we put the towels out to be changed but these were just folded back up and not changed we only new this as the one towel had a distinct stain, not ideal for a 3 night stay, Breakfast was continental with decent selection of bread cheese ham cereal fruit bacon and scrambled egg , fruit juice and hot drinks Overall we would come back just a few little areas thst need attention OnixHotelsCom, at Onix Liceo Hotel, responded to this review Thank you so much for your feedback.     Read some worrying reviews about this hotel, think they must have been at a different hotel. Location is really convenient for visiting all parts of Barcelona. Lovely little pool for cooling down at end of the day. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, decent air conditioning, friendly staff. Felt completely safe with 24 hr reception and cctv everywhere.     I stayed at the Onix Hotel for 3 days and a thief broke into the hotel room. Alberto is the hotel manager and together with the staff he did nothing for us. They treated us very badly.     Stayed for 5 nights in May. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was smooth. The addition of tea and coffee facilities in the foyer was welcome. We would stay again.
