Location

This city hotel enjoys a privileged location near Las Ramblas in Barcelona. The hotel was built in 1800. 90 non-smoking rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Staff was very helpful and courteous, rooms were comfortable and well kept, excellent location facing La Rambla, close to The Gothic Quarters and many other attractions in Barcelona, breakfast buffet at a reasonable extra cost was varied and plentiful.     We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it is a perfect location for the things we wanted to do . The hotel is so clean and the staff are so helpful and efficient. The rooms are basic but you have everything you need and if it’s not there the staff will sort it out.I would recommend this hotel .The only downside at the moment is the work repaving La Rambla going on but it has nothing to do with the hotel, also the pub next to the hotel and the tables outside of the hotel are a rip off but again nothing to do with the hotel.     Hotel good, Restaurant connected to the lobby hotel not!

    Room was nice & clean. Bedding was comfortable. Needed extra towels, they brought them right up. Needed a fan, they brought one up. Breakfast in the hotel was exceptionally good. The only thing… the restaurant connected to the hotel in the lobby was a rip off. They charge way more than what the menu says. When I confronted the server he told me that’s what they do!     Location is perfect right on La Rambla

    This was our second visit to Barcelona. This time we came by transatlantic cruise. We knew we wanted to stay on La Rambla Street, because we did in our last visit. We chose this hotel for location, perfect location. We also upgraded to a balcony room and had the breakfast every day (extra for both). We stayed five nights and we were very happy with everything. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was a 10/10, we loved our little balcony (not a balcony that you can sit on, too small for that, but you open up the doors and you can stand out there). Ours was right above the hotel entrance on the first floor, which is technically the second floor. We took the stairs right up to our room. They do have an elevator. The room was a typical small European size room with two twin beds together, a large shower with toilet. We were very satisfied with our accommodations. The only thing to take into consideration is that there is construction up and down La Rambla. On the weekends they do not work, but Monday morning it starts up at 9 am. Because of this we did spend most of our time in the Gothic area, which was quiet, lots of funky bars and restaurants. Obviously the construction has nothing to do with the hotel, just an FYI. We had no idea about the construction.     Fantastic Stay at Hotel Arc La Rambla ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We had an excellent stay at Hotel Arc La Rambla in the heart of Barcelona.
