  Impossible to breathe

  This hotel uses so much air freshener that you can barely breathe in the lobby and the breakfast area. Absolutely horrible.There is noone during the night at the reception and the bathroom amenities are cheap.Overall overpriced even if the location is good, rooms spacious and breakfast decent.Quite a shame, they could do much better.

  Casa Grande is an elegant hotel built in an old Andulusia townhouse an easy walk from the station and close to the old town of Jerez. It's handy for shops, bars and bodegas without being noisy.This was my second trip to Casa Grande as my brother lives around the corner. On my first trip, two years ago, I had a room that opened onto the inner, roofed courtyard and I found it far too heated in February-my sisters had the same issue on a different trip and the staff moved them. This trip I booked a room with an external view so that is have a window I could open for fresh air and it was perfect but, in any case, the modern rooms have adjustable temperature controls.My room was in the newer part of the hotel which is all marble, stylish lighting and lofty open air-wells to the beautiful roof terrace wit views over the roofs of Jerez. The room was spotless with french windows that open onto orange trees and a church garden.The ensuite had a walk in shower with excellent water pressure.Breakfast wasn't included in my initial rate so I booked it separately for the days I needed it- it isn't cheap but it does work out as good value because it's excellent quality and there's plenty of it.You can order bacon and eggs at no extra charge but I kept to the continental breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the jamon and the almond cake.All the staff are lovely and really helpful if you need anything booking.I'm booking for next year as soon as I can organise flights

  Underwhelming but sufficient

  Just got back from our two night stay in Jerez.Upon arriving at the hotel, you are quickly taken in by the amazing decor, and spacious reception area. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.The location was perfect, 10 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the center. We thought we had found an amazing hotel. However, when we got to our room, we were quite underwhelmed. It didn't match the beautiful exterior. It was small, cramped and lacked basic amenities like coffee making. You couldn't have the curtains open, as the windows looked directly into the hallway meaning anyone could see into your room. So it felt dark all the time. There was an extremely thin sheet for the bed, which may have not even been there. One pillow per person.We were right by the cleaners closet, so we were woken up early hours in the morning.There is a pool, which seemed to have been drained despite it still being 30 degrees. Overall, it was clean and a good location.When we return to Jerez, we may stay here again if the price was cheaper than we paid.

  Just back from Jerez where we stayed at Yit Casa Grande. We requested a room change and Nuria on the desk was both extremely helpful and professional in accommodating that. During our stay and upon departure staff member Arantxa was also a real credit to the business. A great small hotel in a fabulous central location. Definitely a go to for us in future.

  Good location, 15 minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes walk into old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable. Air con good. No iron, can’t even borrow one . We didn’t take breakfast as many place around priced much cheaper .
