    We had a perfect 2 night stay 14-16 March for a city break in Santander. Our flight landed early and the rain was very heavy, so taxi from airport to hotel €25 and the helpful male receptionist was so helpful, he reassigned a room to allow us early check in. I think we may have been upgraded too. Room 408 was on the top floor and had a king bed and large bathroom along with a large terrace. We could get evening sun (if it came out!) and also had view of beach. We were room only. There is a cafeteria attached to hotel which was perfect for coffee and pastry for breakfast. A fridge with commentary bottles of water. Bed was very comfortable but only one pillow each. I would stay here again only downside no tea or coffee in the room. I would bring a travel kettle next time. The room was spotless and housekeeping was daily. Walking into the centre was around 30mins. Taxis readily available right outside the hotel.     The hotel has a nice price to rest ratio and room are spacious, I can’t really give five stars because you can get better pillows and bed, but the location and rooms are very well

    Comfy and with a great location, it seems to be one of the high end hotels in Santander. With one restaurant and one tapas bar, if rest is what you need, this is the place. Just crossing the street, you will find a couple of cafe spots and a burger joint; at the back an anchovies store with the best I’ve had in quite a while. Rooms are fair, silent and price/performance fair as well. This is my second time here and would not have a doubt to return,

    Dissapointing. No real welcome on arrival, barely a smile at reception. No brief tour to show breakfast room, bar and restaurant or any other facilities on offer. Second day and not even an Ola’ when passing, just a look!Room request made in June didn’t happen. We Fully realise a request only, but again no mention at check in which would have been appreciated.Perhaps it’s been a long summer and staff are weary, but we definitely feel the Hotel is lacking in warmth and a friendly ambience. The exception thus far was the young man serving in the bar, helpful and pleasant .
