    A gem of a hotel in a pretty location.

    what a delightful hotel this is. We stayed for 4 nights. We originally booked a small double, but the room was quite small. The staff, Aida and Esteban were super helpful and after one night in the small room ( the hotel was fully booked that night), they found us a larger room with a balcony and gorgeous view. This hotel is modern, and exceptionally clean and has free parking at the front of the hotel. The breakfast was a continental buffet and there were plenty of options. The village of Lierganes is compact and very pretty. It has a train station with regular trains into Santander. There are lots of restaurants and cafes and a street market on a Sunday.We loved this hotel and totally recommend it. If you can, book a larger room with a balcony.

    Nice hotel in a small town. Very good price and parking out the front for our bikes. Room was fine with a balcony and table for enjoying a few drinks. Owner directed us to a nice local bar. Good continental breakfast.

    We visited Cantabria during 15 days and we choose this hotel as HQ. The hotel employees were very kind and friendly with us, the help us in everything we asked and even the change our room without charged. The rooms are medium size but are clean and comfortable, they clean them every day. The breakfast is as good as expected in a three stars hotel, it includes. "Sobados Pasiegos", different kinds of fruits and typical toast with milk and coffee.Thanks to the whole family of this hotel because the made our holidays better.

    This is not a typical village hotel ,the rooms are excellent with modern furnishings .The twin bed room had a separate bathroom area (bath with shower over) and a small balcony.Breakfast was standard continental as promised and dinner was 3 course typical Spanish fare,the dinner would probably not suit non Spanish visitors but no one need starve in Lierganes.The village has a surprising number and variety of cantinas and restaurants .A narrow gauge railway terminates in the village and you can take the relaxing 45 minute (hourly service) to Santander city centre.The hotel has a 'happy to see you' atmosphere and is a credit to the owners and staff.

    Hi from Dublin, We had a lovely few days in Hotel Miera.Maria at reception was very welcome at check in.Rooms and beds very comfortable.Excellent location restaurants,bars train station all 10 minutes walk.Cosy hotel great value. Many thanks to Alicia & Eduardo, Baile Bologna,
