    The air conditioning is a welcome relief during very hot days.

    We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a lovely way to spend our final days of a 2 week bike tour. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the location. It was especially welcoming to have air conditioning - after several days of extreme heat. The breakfast was great, as was the service. I would highly recommend this hotel

    In this hotel the rooms are outdated, old and over priced. We had an attic room that was dark, with no tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were efficient but not friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice. On check out we were charged extra for parking. Somo is beautiful but stay somewhere else unless you want to be over charged.

    It’s a hotel of different parts in that there are good parts and not so good parts. We stayed for our last two nights in Northern Spain as it’s near Santander for the ferry but also Bilbao is only just over an hour away. We were welcomed nicely (English spoken) and the public areas are all marble flooring, light and bright. Once you go up to the bedroom floors though the hotel is a bit scruffy. The floors were marked and the glass walkway looked like it needed a good clean. Our room had the feeling of a garret as the window was high and small (we were on the top third floor). The furniture is dark but the bed was comfortable and once the banging and crashing had stopped from other guests we slept well. The bathroom was very dated and the shower over the bath wasn’t brilliant. Plus there were two flappy shower curtains to contend with! On our second night we ate in the restaurant and had a good meal for euros 25 each including water and wine. The waitress was on her own but managed to serve everyone in a timely friendly manner. No English spoken but Google translate helped. The not so good side of the food was breakfast. There wasn’t much choice (compared to the previous 3 hotels we had stayed in) and was more functional than enjoyable. There is nothing special about the area except for the big broad beach you can walk to from the hotel but can’t see from it. The hotel is in a suburban street. It’s hard to say whether we would stay again - possibly for one night prior to catching the ferry but it’s not a destination hotel.

    Torres de Somo enjoys a premium location very close to the beach and 10 minutes wall from the city center.The hotel’s ammeneties are nice with large garden and pool. The breakfast is very good with large choice and the dinner is OK. The downside of the hotel being the room which are a bit old fashioned , with broken AC making heaps of noise... almost not acceptable for this type of hotel. Overall good time there !

    Easy to find. Very comfortable. Verv friendly and helpfull. Lovely room. Good breakfast. Nice garden and pool . Great Bar with top Service. Very clean. Even Dome Seve memormabilia on the Walls. Great for Sevy Fans.
