  The views are the only thing this place has going for it...

  So the views are fantastic. But if you leave the hotel, you get the same views, so why bother staying at this dump?The bed was like a board with a squeaky spring, every time I turned over I woke up from the squeaks. Very very uncomfortable.The door frame had come off the bathroom door.And the food.....Spain is known for its wonderful food and coffee. Someone forgot to tell this place. They had a buffet for dinner, lunch and breakfast. I got sick from something I ate at lunch, probably bad seafood. I got myself a cafe con leche at breakfast from their machine. I had been drinking this from machines across Spain. I had one sip and left it. Seriously??!! These guys can't even get the right machine. I would not stay here. Its really too bad as these guys have a gold mine in terms of their views. If they put a bit of money into it for better beds, and got a good chef, they would be booked all year round. Don't bother staying here, you'll ruin your back and intestinal track.

  Never again at this hotel

  Considering the consistent poor reviews i thought at least the hospitality had improved! How wrong we were. So much for international relations....What a joke. The only staff that were pleasant was the ladies that cleaned the rooms. The hotel manager was rude, bombastic and sarcastic regarding our some how no record of our booking. The room we were 'temporarily' staying in turned into being our room for the duration of the 5 night stay. We requested was a for a sea view! Only to be told ' you have no chance' and ' just think yourselves lucky you weren't on the street'. Nice welcome. The food was mediocre and geared towards the Spanish, Russians etc it was very clear from staff's attitude and behaviour they didn't like the British. Luke warm food and unusual stew's/broth's with pig trotter's floating in one dish. Considering it was 34 ℃ outside more salad's/ cool fresh food would have been more adequate. Thank goodness for the Texas steak house next door! That place made our holiday in terms of eating a decent meal. The manager and staff were warm and welcoming! Mar Ski hotel it does not cost a Cent to be pleasant and welcoming to your customer's!!We paid a 10 Euro deposit for a hairdryer that funnily enough a record of that deposit was not made so again we lost another 10 Euro's. Thank goodness we printed all copies of paperwork of our booking and took it with us as i really do believe we would have been on the street's of Blanes. The view of the beach from the Hotel is spectacular if you go onto the roof. The beach was stunning!!

  What can I say 11 days at mar ski arrived at mid nite asked porter if could have sandwich told kitchen closed thanks First day Tuesday 15 September breakfast all hot meals on show cold all of it evening email all hot meals cold Breakfast consisted of beans scrambled eggs sticky bacon sauges little spice ones same on all 10 days evening meal soup speghety fish mixed veg potato stuff same all 10 notes we ate out after 2 days bed room 3 single beds no bed side tables TV BBC news only bath room no shampoo or fell no hair dryer o and no tea maker in All rubbish o and bar close 10.15 o by th way water at evening had to pay 1.5 euro had enough good to b home

  Worst Food Ever !!

  This hotel looks very nice fron the outside, however, a 'standard room' is a 12' x 10' box. The dining room is totally inadequate for the number of guests, far too small.Worst of all is the disgusting food on offer. Obviously Brits are not catered for, Buffet was never better than luke warm. Only saving grace is the great restuarant next door,The Texas Range Steakhouse, really good food, warm friendly owner and staff.Best food we found in this location.
