    Best beds & shower for a relaxing stay

    Stayed here for a local wedding, bit of a way out from Girona airport but right next to the bus station. Excellent check in, very easy & all information given. Massive rooms! Seperate bedroom was lovely with a huge balcony accessible from living room & bedroom (I was on the first floor where the balconies are as big as the rooms!) Not the best views but very close to town & the staff gave excellent directions & provided a map. The kitchenette was fully equipped (no kettle but the pot did the same job), fantastic waterfall shower & very comfortable beds. Very clean all over. Restaurant really welcoming & close to local amenities. The staff were all very pleasant & willing to help. Would highly recommend this hotel!

    Lovely appart hotel ... everything you need for a few days break, very clean Rudy and we’ll equipped, 5 minutes walk into the center and a handful of really good restaurants .. 10 minutes to the beaches

    Arrels d'Emporda is an aparthotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of Palafrugell. We found the location to be particularly convenient because it's situated across the road from the coach/bus station. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by our apartment which was of a decent size. The bathroom was particularly spacious and the shower was excellent. Despite being a fairly new hotel, some of the apartment walls were a little bit dirty and could do with a clean.Although the hotel doesn't have particularly nice views, we liked that the apartment had a spacious balcony which can be accessed via the living room as well as the bedroom. We'd be happy to stay there again in future.

    The beach within reach

    We found this hotel, searching for a stay in the area near the beach. LlaFranc and Tamariu are just a 15 minutes drive so the fine restaurants on the boulevard are within reach.The hotel / apartment has very nice beds, good facilities in general and especially if you want to cook for yourself everything is here. We didn't because of those nice places at the beach. We also did not use the services of the restaurant, which looked nice.This is a very good place to sleep.

    We were in Palafrugell for a wedding. The bride and groom (both live in NYC) suggested 2 options for where to stay. The first was about 450 euros per night and then there was Arrels d'Emporda. We found it to be more like a old, tired Howard Johnson's. Our room was small and they left one, coin-size round of soap (for both the sink and the bath). It took 2 days until we got another little piece of soap. The staff was friendly but really couldn't give us any recommendations for where to eat.
