  PROS - Location is amazing, a very short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, this cannot be faulted! The hotel grounds are really lovely, very clean and welcoming, a lovely pool bar available Breakfast included, basic but ok, more continental.Friendly staff, everyone was so very welcoming.Cleanliness, rooms were cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily.CONS - Rooms, the room we had 106 was like an oven, no air con which for August was very uncomfortable. There was a ceiling fan but did nothing to cool room down, there was also a table fan provided which was definitely better than nothing, however the heat made sleeping difficult, the beds were also very hard, this is of course a personal view as some people will appreciate a firm mattress. The bathroom shower was not particularly good, I found getting the shampoo out of my hair difficult, I do however have very thick hair! The bathroom was ridiculously hot, no ventilation. No safe in the room either. The noise from outside was also an issue, I believe from bins being emptied around 5:50 in the morning, however this is not the fault of the hotel.All said I do believe this hotel has great potential with some modernisation. I hope this review helps give a balanced view. Customers love the pool, the bar and the service. The breakfast is complete, varied and of quality. Cleanliness and service are part of our main premises. There is no air conditioning, but there is a new, high-quality ceiling fan. Customers sleep very well without getting hot. Customers praise the quality of sleep. The beds and mattresses are new and of the highest quality. The mattress is new, high-quality visco-latex, and has been proven to be good for resting and healthy for the back. Customers praise the quality of sleep and the mattresses. Normally, always, the bathroom, the shower, is very good and there is no problem. Normally everything is always very quiet and no noise is heard. Every year we carry out improvements and renovations, always respecting the style that our dear clients like so much. It is always good to listen to and pay attention to a travel agent, to take it into account, but also to say that the intention is to improve every year.   Highly recommended for family trips

  Managed by his owner Ramón, this is more than a hotel. This is like being home. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed (2 adults and 3 kids (7,5 and 1 years old). Great facilities, well mantained hotel, brand new pool built in 2023, breakfast buffet, pool restaurant/bar open until 23:30 hrs, lift, parking, TV, internet, room amenities such towels, soap, etc. Traveling with 3 small kids, you just need someone to understand you and make your stay easy and smooth. Ramón and his team were the whole time ready to assist and provided a great natural service.The hotel is two blocks away from the ocean and two blocks away from the main shopping center. Around the corner you can find a great variety of restaurants and bakeries, as well as supermarkets, pharmacy. just to mention.

  Retro gem - no air con though!

  Good things:* Lovely staff. Always helpful and willing to try and put the effort in.* Spotlessly clean despite age of the place.* Unintentionally wonderfully retro. This place is a 50s-60s dream, lost in time (with all the entails!)* Surprisingly excellent free wifi! Really good speed - could stream netflix just fine.* Nice breakfast in the courtyard :)* Lovely views from the balconies on upper floors of hills and the sea.* Secure washing and drying area for scuba gearNot so good:* No aircon! Every room does have a small but powerful desk fan provided, but it was end of June and we really missed not having a/c* Limited menu at the restaurant in the evenings. Plenty of other places to eat very close by though.* If you're diving and don't have a car, be aware it's a bit of a walk (~15min) to the marina where the dive boats tie up. * We were a couple and booked a double room but got a twin with the beds pushed together. Not great but I think all the rooms might only be set up as twins... def added to the retro feel!

  I spent one night in this hotel. The furnitures and the overall style was a bit aged but everything was nice and clean. Something I didn't like was the fact that the walls were thin and we could hear the people in the other room chatting, in the evening there was a lot of noise due to the other guests. Another problem was the bathroom, it had a window that faced our neighbours' bathroom and it was a little embarassing. At the end of the day we enjoyed our stay and the hotel staff was kind and professional. The breakfast was a buffet and it was tasty.

  A perfect holiday in L'Estartit Spain

  The Bell Aire Hotel is a welcoming, friendly family run hotel. The staff are amazing, very helpful & practice all covid related hygiene. It is well situated for the beach & shops, there is free street parking. We would highly recommend this value for money hotel. We hope to visit again in the future.
