The property is conveniently located 50 m from the beach and in Roses' central pedestrian zone among shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest bus station is around 150 m away, and it is about 18 km to the train station. Girona – Costa Brava Airport is around 50 km away and Barcelona Airport is approximately 150 km away.

6 junior suites, 3 single rooms and 21 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Little gem, boutique style hotel

    I’ve walked past this little hotel many times but never stayed there until now . Simple and elegant in design . Comfortable rooms . Friendly and helpful staff . Gorgeous breakfast room with buffet style items but also freshly made eggs cooked to order .Access to Hostal Rom next door for a bar and restaurant for evening meals if you wish . Very close to the beach and the centre of Roses while being situated on a quiet street just minutes away . The balcony is very small but 2 people can sit there . Only one minor point is that the balcony chairs had peeling paint which made them uncomfortable to sit on .

    Great value, friendly, clean hotel, parallel to the sea-front, but quiet. Basic, functional rooms with a good bathroom, all very clean. Very decent breakfast and friendly staff.Roses is well worth exploring outside the main tourist season when it's very busy and mainstream. Hotel Carmen is a very good place to stay.

    We had some personal plans that affected our booking and even though we booked with no refundable options, Hotel Carmen was very accomodating to try and help us out. Our only feedback is that we wish their email communication would be more punctual as it took them over 2 weeks to get back to us on our concerns however at the end, their solution when we got there was much appreciated. The staff are all very friendly and the room is okay. It is in a very central location and very close to the beach.

    This is one of the easiest reviews I've written in a long timeEverything is perfect, the room while not huge is big enough, extremely clean, a good sized bathroom and big showerThe reception is nice, explaining the WiFi, breakfast details etcBreakfast very good indeed, everything you need is there Free parking is about 300 metres away next to the citadel, so dump your bags if your in a car and park after, the hotel doesn't have it's own parking as it's on a small street

    Small room but perfect for us as we were out most of the time. Super comfy bed and pillows. Close to lots of delicious food and some good shopping. It's a couple of streets back from the beach but not the best beaches in Roses so we drove to some others. The breakfast is lovely and all the staff members we spoke to are really nice. Would definitely return. They may want to look into the products they put in the bathroom because the shampoo and conditioner have really messed up my hair.
