    Amazing steak!

We had lunch on the first of January and everything was closed. Luckily we found this place to eat and we ate the best steak ever and also the appetizers were delicious! Besides the staff was very kind and helpful. So suggested!

Great hotel located right by the walls in stunning Avila. Our room was spacious and went out to a great garden area where we sat and had a drink while re- charging our batteries.Staff were friendly and gave us loads of information to make the most of our stay.Restaurant La Bruja which is attached definitely worth a visit too.

A smallish room, perfectly clean, nice bathroom, good WiFi, tv we didn't try, no fridge or tea and coffee facilities. No bar or food service, not even breakfast unless on the weekends. Just 200 metres to a city gate and El Rastro parking which was €16.50 for 24 hours so fine for a short stay immediately next to the city with no parking issues at this price point.

Lovely little hotel close to the city centre. Was a nice walk from the bus station, and enjoyed my stay. Very welcoming staff and really enjoyed the hotel. Very nice hotel in a good location

An overnight to have a look at the lovely old city of Avila. Right at the walls ,near one of the main gates, this hotel is not big but is nicely done out inside . Our room was more than adequate , facing the ( quite busy at times ....the streets come to life quite early in the morning here ) street on the reception side of the hotel . The other side would face the walls and you can exit to that side via the restaurant at most times ( not late at night though). Decent modern bathroom ... a flashing showerhead , woo hoo, but a crack in the basin ...not really serious in reality. Friendly personnel based on our short interactions , and breakfast , albeit fairly basic, was good quality, nicely set out and I think was good value at Eur 5.Aircon seemed a bit weak so maybe as well it was cooling down from the summer peaks ( and the city is 3700 feet up...so the height of Scafell Pike / Snowdon ) ....A solid 3 star hotel for a decent rate ...a good 8.5 out of 10. Torrance Traveller warns you : Avila is pretty shut up on a Sunday evening so check whats open....
