Location

This hotel is wonderfully located in the tourist area of Calella de la Costa and is only 100 m from the beautiful sandy beach. Countless, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are located in the immediate vicinity as well as plenty of shops. The nearest public transport links are around 800 m (the nearest train station is Calella).

Facility

The hotel has 96 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Paperthin walls, could hear talking from room other side. Noisy corridor, from guests and housekeeping traffic.Housekeeping knock 8.30am, so if you require DND put this on your door.Workmen drilling 8.30am, we complained direct to them, they stopped.Smelly drain in bathroom, n smell of food cooking n cigarette smoke coming into the room when balcony door left ajar.     Excellent place for holiday maker family

    From bus it was just minutes away, from train 15 minutes away. We were given a comfortable room at top floor with sea view. It was very quiet and with excellent beds and spacious balcony. The decoration of the room is very modern and stylish. We stayed with breakfast and dinner included option. The food was excellent. Since we love fish it was very good for us. We would love more variety of fish as we do not eat non halal meats. We wish some fried rice were not mixed with pork. The desserts were so nice. Breakfasts were very nice.     Calella is a lovely place to visit, we stayed at the dwo les Palmeras, the coach couldn't drop us off at hotel as narrow roads so had about a 7 minute walk to find it, when we got there the reception ladies were friendly and helpful, the room had 2 beds a tv. Fridge and air conditioning and wifi, there's no sofa so have to sit on the beds, only English channels on tv is news channels, the bathroom is a good size with a large shower, they supplied shampoo, bodywash and hand wash, the only thing I didn't like was no lock on bathroom door, outside is a small pool with about 12 sunbeds, and because the hotels are so close together the pool hardly gets any sun so we used the beach instead which was only at the bottom of the road, the restaurant in the hotel was good for breakfast it had lots to choose from, the evening was frustrating as we had to queue for over 20 minutes to get a table for food which was mainly fish and meat and vegetables, sounds good but the chicken was raw inside and the meat was always dry, we did have 1 good night when they made steak which was lovely, the puddings were always lovely and there's always alot of fruit around. If you need a clean tidy base to stay in this is perfect, there is lots of bars and restaurants outside the hotel and so is the town, we enjoyed walking through the town to see the old church

    Nice hotel clean rooms ,food ok not happy that you had to pay for the roof top pool other pool i though was no atmosphere and cleanliness wasent very good we only visited the ground floor pool once which was disappointing that's why we go abroad needs a revamp on the ground floor pool most definitely this has made us not to return which is a shame because location was good and love the resort Reservas Les Palmeres, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Dwo Les Palmeres, responded to this review Dear Mr. Francisco Javier, thank you very much for your comment.
