    Not more there

    rating19 Apr 2021

Breakfast is included, but not an extra croissant? No hairdryer, no service to serve the electrical plug, no elevator and no sea views, even if they appear on the virtual tour... I felt ripped off, sorry for the deal with the owner who was very friendly, but it's not what I expected for the price.

    Don't have dinner here

    rating06 Jun 2016

After reading great reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to try the set menu. Calamari starter was OK, fresh but nothing else to it. The paella was basically rice cooked with too much stock (store bought cube?)- black in color, probably added to by crust on the pan. The pan was to share; besides very salty black rice there were 2 prawns, a handful of pea-sized mussels, a tiny bit of chorizo here and there and that was it. Besides being very hungry, we couldn't eat any decent amount. Definitely don't t go there for paella!

Noisy - narrow side street is a playground.

We are currently staying at this hotel in Tamariu. Our room is above the entrance which is on a corner of two very narrow streets. There is no parking for our hire car anywhere near the hotel. In fact we are parked miles away. The hotel website states there is a garage?? We will be staying at nearby Llfranc tomorrow - away from the noise. The room is very basic tho the wifi reception is good. One would hope that a hotel would reserve a few parking spots for its guests

Great value dinner and friendly ambience

    rating05 Sept 2015

We had dinner at Es Furio, the Menu del Dia. Fantastic value at €15.00 pp for 3 courses, bread and good local wine. We both had Gazpacho, Fiduea and ice cream. The service is very pleasant and the restaurant is family friendly. Jordi, the Patron, recognised us, although it is 4 years since our last visit to this wonderful village where we have had many happy family holidays over a period of 30+ years. It is well worthwhile searching out this gem, only a minute's walk from the seafront. Yes, you sacrifice the view that can be had from the restaurants on the front but the quality and value make up for it. Incidentally, they also serve great pizzas.

    Nice!

    rating18 Jul 2014

We stayed here with our twin 6 year olds in July 2014 (so two adults and two children). Quite comfortable room and beds, friendly owner, great continental breakfast, 20 meters from the beach. Downsides were the street noise - but that's Spain - the restaurant seemed to have similar prices to the beachfront restaurants, and it was a little expensive for what was offered (although it is almost beachfront).Tamariu itself was wonderful. Full of tourists, but very small, great walks, good restaurants (except for the bloody smokers), nice beach. Would we go back - yeah, absolutely!
