  Dreadfull - Avoid

  Dreadful - Do not be fooled by the presentation of this property on the booking websites.This property is tired and run down and looks nothing like the photos it has posted of its public areas or rooms for that matter.We had booked a 2 night stay Mid August in a Room with a Garden View which when you click on it under the Room Availability heading brings up photos of a lovely bright room with a nice Balcony to sit out on with Pool or Garden views, On arrival we immediately became aware that the property was far more run down than it appears in their photos and is located in a back street area where the front of the property,,where the Pool and Garden ( which is a concreted area with large flower pots ) are located are actually enclosed on the other 3 sides by the backs of what appear to be equally run down properties.Upon checking in we were brought to our allocated Room via a  Lift Lobby & Corridor which disturbingly were covered by heavily stained carpet tiles. Our allocated room whilst resembling the website photos in layout was far darker and the Balcony Area which was fronted by a 4 ft tall solid wall was circa a foot wide by 4 foot long.so barely enough room to stand out on, never mind sit out on. We immediately returned to the Reception and stated to them that this Room was not comparable with the Room type which had influenced us to make our booking and asked to be given a Room of that type ie a Room with a Balcony upon which you could at least sit out on. We were informed that the Hotel was full and that this was the only Room available. We informed the Manager that this was not acceptable and asked for our booking to be cancelled and the payment refunded. The Manager refused this request and then asked us to accompany her to view a room which had a Balcony and a Pool View. She then proceeded to bring us to what looked like a disused part of the Hotel to view a Room that had no Linen on the Bed and that had stains on the mattress as well, We at this point again requested that our booking be cancelled and refunded but this was again refused so we informed the Manager that we were not taking up the occupancy of the Room and returned the key to her and left. On returning from our holiday we sought to seek a refund of our payment from the property on the basis that they did not provide a room as was similar to that as advertised. They have to date refused to acknowledge any wrong on their part and have even stated that we left the property without making our grievances known to them even though we were engaged with them for over an hour trying to get our allocated Room changed.

  An oasis around the swimming pool

  Booked this hotel and was very happy with the location. 5 minutes to the bus station and central strip area. 5 minutes also to the old Town church and tourist shops. The prices were reasonable and with a private balcony. The gardens are set out beautifully and during the day it is a pleasure to sit by the pool. staff were excellent and breakfast was more than adequate. You wouldn't believe you are in the middle of a busy city. The only downside...and the hotel is not at fault here... is when the clubs in the main strip finish you do get noise from the drunk young people but every hotel in the town have the same problem. It's an adults only hotel. Would I stay there again.....YES. And I would recommend it

  Excellent budget friendly hotel in central location.

  Arrived just before check in time 22nd July for 1 week room was ready. 100% what I expected and what I booked very clean spacious room excellent air conditioning TV, free WiFi, bathroom with small tub and massive bed balcony overlooking the pool area. Not loads of sunbeds but no fighting with towels to save them in a morning !! Breakfast had everything you need (no breakfast tea available I asked and was brought a teabag very kind but took my own down in a morning so no problem) good variety of international cuisine cereal fruit cooked items yogurts pastrys cold meats & cheeses. Very helpful reception staff when required and excellent cleaning team daily. Overall excellent budget friendly place to stay very central location in the middle of Lloret would recommend 100%

  We were nervous about this hotel after seeing some rough reviews but we fell in love with is location, staff and faded opulence!The walls are thin, the carpets are work and the décor is dated but what a central gem! The breakfast is also delicious!We will be coming back!

  Spent a week at this hotel following a significant bereavement. The original room was not to my liking, very dated. I asked for a room in the original part of the hotel instead. The receptionist, Sandra, was more than helpful and was able to offer me a room,which was much better. More spacious which is what I needed.Throughout our stay, all the staff, were courteous, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect for shops, bars, restaurants and close proximity to the beach.I will definitely come back to this hotel and wish all the staff a well deserved break...
