  Surprising good hotel

  We stayed 7 days in this hotel, sea view room, with breakfast and dinner, so we had plenty of time to evaluate it. As the first impression was not great due to the front side very banal and the small reception, we were initially in doubt for our choice. But we were wrong as the room was OK, with large comfy beds, all appeared new and spotless clean. The automatic coffee machine working with coffee capsules was a surprise in the room, as well the very good insulation of the room. (However, due to the street noise, we recommend the balcony door to keep closed). I should value the room for 5 stars hotel, but we consider it a 4 stars room because we didn't like the missing of the night stands which were replaced with a simple plate fixed with screws on the wall and at the other side of the bed it was only a small rotund metalic table - so no drawers. The bathroom and the air conditioning were OK as well. The breakfast and dinner had very varied food and tasty, enough for all tourists. I want to send my special thanks to the very good chief cook mr. Jesus, also to Irina very helpful and efficient in the hotel restaurant and to Miss Julia at the reception desk, very kind and helpful (and beautiful also!) who offered a room according to our preferances and as well thanks to all personel.We will return with pleasure in this hotel and this very beautiful town.

  Stayed 4 nights with a friend for a sunny break. Unfortunately, mixed feelings overall.Positives:Clean hotel, great location, very comfy beds, and a good breakfast with eggs cooked fresh.Negatives:We requested a usable balcony and paid extra for a sea view. While we were given a balcony, rooms above us weren’t, meaning cigarette ash, dripping towels and swimwear constantly fell onto ours. We reported this, but nothing changed.The rooftop pool area is far too small for the number of guests — around 10 sunbeds and a few uncomfortable deckchairs. Sunbeds were regularly “reserved” early with towels. When we briefly left to get food and medication, our towels were removed and dumped by staff, despite seeing this rule ignored on previous days. The lack of consistency was frustrating.Pool towels can’t be taken to the beach, so we had to buy towels and pay again for beach loungers — all because the hotel can’t accommodate guests around the pool.Overall:We wouldn’t stay again. The hotel needs more pool space or to offer beach lounger discounts to compensate

  Never stay here. 1 night we stayed. Yobs cruising cars up and down the street. Car horns pipping. People hanginga of cars shouting all through the night and at 6am. Rooms bland and soulless. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was awful. We got out of there after one night of hell. Deffinalty not my idea of a 4star hotel more like a UK 2 star.

  A very mixed bag.

  My wife and I stayed here in may and found the hotel staff to be as helpful as they could be, one of the receptionists went way above and beyond in securing me a mobility scooter and that was very much appreciated.The breakfast are typical for a Spanish hotel with the likes of bacon and eggs being cooked while you wait ensuring they came hot, we only ate once in the hotel on a evening and although it was possible to create a meal it would be hard to do so over several nights, most of the options were served buffet style and were not hot.Despite the hotel claiming they do not allow stag or hen party's a hen party booked in on our second night and they caused absolute havoc with the usual late night noise and drunken behaviour, several guests complained and were told they had been warned that they would be removed by the police but the staff never followed up on this so the rest of us had to suffer the groups behaviour a total of three nights we stayed a week so it was a large part of our holiday.The hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms are made up daily to a good standard, due to the hotels location the rooms at the back of the hotel are quite noisy at night, to get any sleep you need to keep your windows shut and this means the rooms become hot and stuffy, the air con is to noisy to run at night.Due to the above as much as we liked the staff and location of the hotel we would not stay here again.
