Location

This hotel is situated in the tourist centre of Ampuria Brava, just a few minutes from the town centre as well as approximately 150 m from the nearest beach. An abundance of shops are located in the immediate vicinity, as are boutiques, cafeterias, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot.

Facility

6 single rooms and 36 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Additional facilities include a TV room.     Public areas of hotel were nice - modern decor and comfortable. Pool area and rooftop bar very attractively furnished.Rooms were clean but dated - chips and scuffs on furnishings, chipped toilet seat, no amenities in room apart from shampoo and shower gel - and 2 free cartons of water . Corridors were basic, did not have the feel of a 4 star hotel.     Perfect service by qualified servants who speak languages. The menu of thé eventing meal is superb. While other restaurants in spain are noisy this one is silent. Stylish furniture. Niveau panorama. Thans you for Lucia - stanislas - jouri Oriol soufiane

    The hotel was quite old but nice. The great experience was staying just near the channel. It is also so close to the beach and many good restaurants. Receptionists was friendly. The breakfast was tasteful. Thank you

    We made a mistake and make reservation for the cheapest double room (looking on the street) with a small bed. After 2 nights we understand that it is not suitable for us and ask reception to change room. Receptionist told us that for next day they are full and that there is no possibility. Day later, when first bigger room was free, they upgrade us without any furtherer question, even move our luggage, with no charge at all. And everything else in this hotel was as reception, smooth, kind and very, very calm. Pool is perfect, beach is few minutes walking far away, several restaurants on the short walking distance. Cleanness on the same level. Simple as that we had just a perfect vacation in perfect hotel. Greetings to employees see you probably next year again.

    MISREPRESENTATION OF STANDARD ROOM

    Absolutely horrible room.The hotel port salins or expedia do not mention how terrible standard room is. The room is worse than motel 6 or days inn room.All room pictures posted on expedia and google are the best rooms. The standard room is terrible and is like servant quarters.This is misleading information for customersThere is no mention of options to pick a water view room on expedia. (Apparently water view rooms are the only nice rooms in this hotel. Expedia does not give the option for water view room to pick)Now I cannot even cancel this 5 night stay as expedia and hotel already took the money and refuse to refund and by this time all other nice hotels are already booked up.Hotel wants to charge $60 more per night if a water view room becomes available tomorrow. For that price, I could have booked a much better place 2 weeks back when I was searching hotels
