Location

This comfortable hotel lies at the heart of the Costa Brava just 50 m from the nearest sandy beach and directly beside the 18-hole Platja de Pals golf course. Basses d'en Coll nature park is about 2 km away and the town of Pals is some 6 km from the hotel. Barcelona airport lies approximately 140 km away.

Facility

The resort has 120 rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the resort include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library.     Very disappointed with our three night stay, This resembles a 3 star hotel, The food was average and over priced. The room was clean but everything in it is labeled with a price tag, even the cushion on the bed can purchased. When you fly 8 hours and drive a further 3 hours to get to your hotel you expect a bottle of water in the room especially when the resort fee is $55 per night.The beach was beautiful but the attendant we encountered was very rude This is the third time we have visited this hotel, and we will not return

    Beautiful stay in Costa Brava

    La Costa Resort is one of the few family hotels in the Costa Brava. It has a large pool where my kids enjoyed playing many hours every day, however, the pool area needs a lot of work. There are many loose stones which causes many cuts and scrapes on my kids feet, knees and toes. I have written some pros and consPros:- Stayed in Junior Suite with Pool view. Good size, basic and clean room. The bathrooms can use an upgrade. They are very dated but functioned well. - Friendly cleaning staff and most reception staff- beautiful nature and grounds- Golf facilities were excellent, however not enough shaded bays on the driving range and only of them had the elevated golf mat with tee - ping pong table, tennis and paddle facilities- Cons:AC was not working well. I had to had an engineer come twice, however, the hotel staff were prompt to respond.Having to pay for sun beds at the beach despite staying at the hotelno daily water bottles in the roomno kettle or coffee machine in the roomexpensive food at the hotel restaurantsbikes were too expensive to rent and minimum rental is 4 hours, please offer shorter rental.

    We have been many times to La Costa, but this visit was the first in 4 years because of Covid. We were not disappointed. It was as good ,perhaps even better than our previous holidays. Staff very welcoming and efficient, nothing too much trouble. The hotel is immaculately maintained and our room (junior suite ), very spacious with very comfortable beds. Excellent choice at breakfast which is served from 0730, perfect for our golf times at the adjoining Pals course. The course itself is in first class condition especially the greens. The clubhouse is very relaxing and ideal for lunch.The hotel’s beach restaurant is also a great choice for lunch. Dining in the evening , overlooking the beautiful pool, was a pleasure.We would recommend La Costa as a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and picturesque villages, with a beautiful beach and dunes on its doorstep.We are looking forward to return visit.

    Staff were rude from check in, dinner service poor on the first night. Pool is great. Customer service is absolutely appalling. Hotel is still living in the 90s. Definitely wouldn't bother with it again.

    A great time in one of the most beautiful parts of Cataluña, Spain!!! Incredible time with our family; exceptional to go with kids, swimming pool incredible, food better, and such a beautiful golf! The hotel service friendly and very kind !!! We will repeat for sure
