  Worst Hotel I stayed at Maeva Hotel in Sept. 2024 for 1 week never before have i been SO disappointed with a so called hotel.Yes it is 1☆ (have stayed in 1☆ before) but to me this is not worth it.Yes we had a nice sea view.There is NO balconies in the hotel.There was NO hot water.There was 1 plug in bathroom & 1 in room.Bed sheets never changed all week.1 change of hand towels.Breakfast was continental NO fruit or variety to choose from.Floors never cleaned.Bathroom never cleaned (except bin daily)Noise from council doing bins was horrendous at 2am.No sand or wet feet allowed in the hotel. H M, Dueño at Hotel Maeva, responded to this review You have already written the same review of the Diabolical hotel before........ By the way, the title is a bit misleading.It would be more correct ‘I thought it was a 4 star hotel but in reality it only had one star’. A pity that people don't get more information before they come.

  Absolutely dreadful hotel. No hot water. They didnt change our sheets. We were only allowed 1 set of fresh towels between us. The taps are all rusty and unclean. The bath had all dirty bits in and wasn’t cleaned. The floor was so dirty our feet were black after walking across the room. The breakfast was diabolical just slices of cheese and ham which weren’t covered up. There was only water or pure orange juice (for cold drinks) you couldn’t have any toast etc the noise from the restaurants throwing glass bottles in the bin, the council going around at around 2am emptying the bins, well you can image the sound of the glass bottles being smashed, then you had the street cleaners around 3am. It really ruined our holiday, we have stayed in much better and cleaner hostels. Oh, not a huge issue but in 2024 they still don’t have WiFi. Dreadful hotel. Please do not waste your money staying here!! The lowest I could give is 1 stay but if I could post this without any stars, I would have! H M, Dueño at Hotel Maeva, responded to this review This criticism is really full of resentment and does not stand up anywhere ...... It is a pity that hoteliers are not allowed to give their opinion on guests, as they do.Just to say that when a person pays for a one star hotel and expects a 4 star hotel there come the disappointments ..... and then to justify everything is wrong.Just a suggestion, before booking try to read all the services and compare prices.

  This is a family run hotel and the family were very visible and helpful. They arranged our transfer back to the airport and gave lots of information about the town. It was clean but not modern. There were no products in the bathroom. Sometimes there was no hot water. Breakfast was plentiful and not rushed.

  Hotel is a family run affair, rooms are cleaned daily, we were lucky to have a room with a beautiful beach view , it was a bit noisy at times bur we put that down to the euros being played and spain in the final, however if we asked I'm sure we would of been given another room, the owners and staff were very friendly and we hope to go back at a later date, a great well situated hotel with plenty of close restaurants 👍

  The only good thing about this place were the people. The facilities needs updating! Toilets were not clean, even after requesting for another room, I just had to manage it. Too noisy, could not sleep H M, Dueño at Hotel Maeva, responded to this review First of all we checked the bathroom and it was very clean, and you were moved to another room as you had intended from the beginning,But surely you would have preferred one with a sea view, hence your complaints.And since there was no such option, you continued with your negative criticism and bad reviewYou booked a standard single room in a humble one star hotel with a corresponding rate.The sea view rooms are double rooms at a higher rate.Thank you for your positive comment about the people.
