Location

This hotel is located on the Costa Brava, 40 km from the French border. The atmosphere is totally maritime, as the resort is located along the main channel of Empuriabrava, part of a network of 30 km of waterways. It is situated next to the marina, lined with restaurants and shops, and 1.5 km from the beach that borders the entire settlement. Girona Airport is approximately 55 km from the hotel.

Facility

The apartment complex has a lift and features 48 apartments. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. The complex provides a safe, medical assistance, a laundry service and a roof terrace. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. A fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station, dishwasher and oven, as well as a complete set of utensils, is a standard feature. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

An invigorating dip in one of the 2 outdoor pools is always worthwhile. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The wide range of activities offered at the complex ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, crazy golf, golf and fishing. Water sports available at the apartment complex include water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. For sports enthusiasts who wish to work out indoors, a gym is available for a fee. A spa, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium are included among the wellness options. For an additional fee, a sauna is also available.

    Stunning Views & Great Location, But Let Down by Pool Hygiene

    We recently stayed at Pierre & Vacances Marina Empuriabrava and while the location and views were absolutely fantastic, there were a few issues that impacted our overall experience.Pros:🌅 Unbeatable Location: The apartment overlooks the marina, offering beautiful scenery and the relaxing sight of boats passing by. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the main street and beach, with hundreds of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options nearby.🛠️ Responsive Service: When our kettle broke, it was replaced swiftly. We also received a second key upon request, which was very convenient.🧺 Housekeeping: Towels and sheets were replaced after a week, which was appreciated.Cons:🚿 Maintenance Issues: The bathroom sink tap was loose and some plug sockets were missing covers. The balcony door didn’t lock, which was a concern.🏊 Pool Cleanliness: The upstairs pool was surrounded by bird droppings and didn’t appear to be cleaned or maintained. The downstairs pool had thick green grime along the inside, which stained swimwear and children’s swimming aids. Overall, the pools felt unhygienic and neglected.💸 Extra Charges: We paid £65 extra for a room with a balcony and £12 per day for parking, which added up quickly.🚤 Shared Facilities: Boat residents also used the pools and vending areas, which reduced the sense of exclusivity and made the facilities feel overcrowded.Overall, the apartment has a lot of potential thanks to its prime location and scenic views, but the lack of pool maintenance and some basic upkeep issues were disappointing. With a few improvements, this could be a top-tier stay.     Quiet area, but nice view

    Aircon fine, well-equipped apt., nice view, friendly reception, parking available.A bit of a “dead” area. Would prefer Roses another time. Okay pools, though small. No sun parasols so far too hot in direct sun. Best in the evening but closes already at 7 pm. Not the cheapest...     Really enjoyed our stay. The appartments are spacious, clean and have a great view. Two nice swimmingpools. Close to the city centre with supermarket and close to the beach. Very friendly and helpfull staff.     Beautiful place to stay

    The apartments are clean and tidy with everything you need. Our apartment looked out onto the canal so you can sit and watch the boats coming and going while sipping your cocktail!The apartment has a dishwasher, washing machine and all the plates and cutlery you will need, there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance, or just stroll along the canal admiring the beautiful boats.
