  I my 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters aged 1 and 3 went on holiday to these apartments on 7th to 14th September and they are an absolute disgrace firstly arrived to find the apartment was not of a good standard chair broken sofa bed broken dipped at one end and slats broken so could not have been used as a bed most of the doors didn’t shut due to doors being bigger then frames and 2 bathroom doors handles were sheared on outside and un be known to us when doors were closed from inside couldn’t get out as my daughter locked in for quite a while before we finally got her out this was on the Sunday office not open till the Monday went in to be greeted by a very very rude receptionist telling me to go and she would come at 12 noon to see she didn’t turn up at 12.30 ish 2 young Spanish girls came didn’t understand me or I them no ID on them thought they were looking for someone they went I went back to office at 4 to be left standing there while receptionist and the 2 girls were laughing and joking when finally came I said to receptionist about not turning up she said she had sent them and I should have pointed for them what was wrong I was fed up and said your so rude with that she phoned my cousin who lives in blanes and lived in Spain for 40 years and I could tell she was being rude even though she was speaking Spanish she threw phone at me and my cousin said she said I had been abusive and that she would turn gas electric off and kick us out all because I just wanted to complain about apartments state she had started dealing with other people I said my cousin wants to speak with you she snatched the phone then she spoke with cousin then threw phone at me again my cousin said she just is not listening and she was busy and would phone her back later I tried to give phone back she snatched it and walked behind reception till I had gone my cousin had to phone her back on another phone so she wouldn’t ignore it and apparently she knew already about the doors and hadn’t bothered to let us know very dangerous as if locked in no windows and if a fire no one would know when I came back to UK in 14th I find that a week later in 20 th they have took another 100 euros for breakages which we have not broken BE WARNED do not use this company as they have RUDE PEOPLE working for them and believe they are scamming people for breakages that are already thereVery annoyed customer m fay

  Arrived on the Saturday night to a room that made a hostel look nice. We found problems such as a broken chair, a door that doesn’t fit into the frame so can’t close, a broken sofa bed which dips at one end and has a slat underneath on the floor, bulb out in the bathroom and no kettle. One of the first nights I went to the toilet and locked the door behind me, when I went to open it the lock wouldn’t unlock so I was locked in the toilet, my sister had to mess with the lock from the outside to get me out, the other bathroom door locked itself from just closing it. This was made aware to us later on that staff knew about this hazard and didn’t bother to tell us. We went to the office as soon as we could to report the problems that we faced and was greeted by one of the rudest people I have ever met who tried to get rid of us and didn’t want to know, she said she would visit the room at 12pm that day but at 12.30pm 2x non English speaking Spanish women turned up and we turned them away as they could not communicate and we didn’t know who they were. Later that day we went back to the office to see what was going on and was faced with the rude lady who had a disgusting attitude and again tried to get rid of us. She threatened to turn off the gas and electricity and kick us out- 3 women, a child and a baby! This didn’t happen, we have had to make do with the worst apartment I’ve ever stayed in. Do not make the same mistake we did and stay here.

  Very noisy apartment

  We stayed in two bedroom apartment in August. Have booked through home away I had no communication on where to pick keys up on night of arrival and had to ring the night before. Home away said they would make my case a priority as I have an autistic son. No phone call I again rang the morning we were to arrive to be told someone would meet us on arrival. LIES we didn't arrive until 7.45 p.m and by the time we found reception it was around 8.30 so they charged us €50 late fee. My husband said we weren't paying it to be told by receptionist no payment no key. Only for the nice lady underneath in bar we would never have found reception. €35 for bed linen which I personally think is disgraceful. €100 for breakages which was refunded upon check out. €25 for safety deposit lock so before we started our holiday €210 was spent. First floor apartment on busy road. Disco straight across road which doesn't end until 6 in morning on Saturday night. So no sleep Thursday we arrived and Saturday night. Apartment has no air conditioning and as it's so noisy you can't leave doors open. We asked to be moved receptionist said maybe next day Monday which we were never moved even though there was free rooms. I asked could we hold apartment until 12 on last day and receptionist said yes but at a cost of €50 for 2 hours. It's €63 for the whole day so I wouldn't give more money. She was quite rude and didn't seem to care. No room provided for showers or bags so we had our luggage with us all day since 10 in morning until our taxi arrived at 4. All RV hotels seem to want is money. No beds by pool cleaned leaves plastic from pool most days. Only plus I could give that beach is beautiful and very near.

  The apartments are fine. 5 of us stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath spacious apartment which was clean. Few minor faults such as kitchen light not working and cupboards broken but did not report because as I'll explain later there's no actual reception on site. I'm giving a 3 star review solely on the basis of the apartment as it was OK it was just the management of the place that is disappointing. I read reviews only after booking and realised there may be a hiccup to getting keys. This is true. If you have not yet booked then please don't book to come here- it's not worth the agro, just spend a few pounds more on somewhere else. If you have already booked and are reading this then I feel bad for you. The apartment does not have a reception it is literally an apartment block that is not very easy to find, especially when transfer coach does not drop you off outside. The reception (where you need to get keys) is a 5 min walk away. This wouldn't be a problem if all this was explained to you at time of booking but it isn't. We arrived after 1am at the wrong hotel. 5 min walk later we finally found apartments as we asked a bar that was luckily still open. Fran, the guy from the bar kindly explained where I need to get keys and walked the 5 min with me to the office for me to ring a number and get keys out of a box (plus a map of where the reception is which was stupid as I needed this before, not after I get the keys!)So we gained access thanks to Fran and Natalia at the bar under the apartments. I will post a pic of the apartment sign and the place across the road which may help you to find these apartments.Blanes is a lovely place, quiet when we stayed and no real nightlife which is what we went for. If you want this - take the bus to Lloret. Apartment is near supermarket, shops and restaurants so there is enough to do if you're not a party-goer. We stayed for 4 nights and had to pay 50 euros for bedding and towels for 5 people, plus 20 euros for tax and 100 euros deposit which I am yet too fully receive back. No mention of paying for towels or bedding (which you do not get back) so I contacted Love Holidays and they agreed to refund this 50 euros.I would highly recommend getting a map of the area to locate the apartments on arrival and the reception which is called RV apartments (again, I will put up a pic of the front of the reception). Reception is only open on certain days and hours so I had to re - visit a few times to get towels, etc! Hope this helps and good luck! Enjoy your holiday!

  Having read the reviews I was slightly apprehensive about the apartment- they didn't put me off as I was not leaving anything valuable in the apartment anyway so I decided to give it a shot. There is a little bar under the Apartment - very friendly and will show you how to get to the place where you pic up the keys....it may be a good idea to phone love holidays and get their number so you can call them to get the address if you are arriving late. We had to pay 130 euros for betting for 4 of us and 100 euro deposit which you get on departure ....this was not mentioned to us but it was fine- just letting you know what to expect. Apartment was clean, bedding clean and I felt safe in it - I think some of the reviews are dated as security was quite good - balcony sliding door wouldn't lock but it was fine as it has heavy shutters. You get what you pay for we just wanted somewhere clean to sleep and near the beach and it was perfect for that - don't be put off by the bad reviews. We didn't use any of the wifi or tele in the apartment so I can't comment we just went for weekend sun and good food- Apartment is absolutely fine!
