Location

Recommended for adults, this family run hotel is located in the coastal city of Pineda de Mar. The Barcelona coast area, next to the Montnegre-Corredor park is the perfect spot for hiking and bike lovers.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 5 single rooms and 202 double rooms located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a currency exchange service and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Just come back from this hotel I don't normally do reviews but had to because both myself and my sister had a fantastic 4 Nights stay here we couldn't really fault anything it was all amazing.... All the staff was very clean,smart,polite,friendly and helpful the rooms was amazing exceptional balcony and very clean food was very good the restaurant was very nice and clean pool area was good lots of beds and lots of places to sit in the sun or in the shade all was covered they also had a lovely reading room ... We will most certainly be going back again .Thank you Stella spa hotel for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable

    Terrible 1st Impression. Breakfast total flop for people who don't eat pork.

    Disappointing breakfast. All hot meat were pork and nothing else. Pork burger, pork sausages and bacon. 7 out of 8 cold cuts are pork. Only 1 turkey ham. Other hot food were lackluster. Too disappointed and upset to eat after more than 20hrs bus ride which I love.The rest of my stay remains to be seen as I've not checked in yet.But 1st impression was a massive failure. This is not a hotel for Muslim or non pork eating tourists or guests.Learned my lesson.

    We went half board and I presumed with the evening meal we would be at least offered a glass of water. No was the case. They asked would you like a drink which was chargeable and if said no they would take all glasses away !!I went in the outdoor pool twice and wow it was cold it took by breath away. Don’t go in the pool if you have a heart condition ! Ha The indoor spa was ok very small and 15 euros to go in for 3 hours. I only went in once but it was heavy chlorinenated Pool towels were also chargeable Good points hotel was very very clean and smelt lovely The staff were nice but not much English spoke The evening meal was nice Breakfast was fine for me as they had omelets. Great locations as easy to hop on the train. I really wish the pool was warmer as that is a big part of my holiday Overall I do feel rested

    Excellent location for walking around and to the beach, little tabac shop and grocery store within 2mins walk, as well as a range of shops & cafes on the front. Train station within 5min walk and great service to nearby towns & Barcelona. Barcelona metro very difficult to navigate and no staff willing to help. As for the hotel… nice & relaxing. Desk staff not helpful at all, no one bothers you, no one goes out their way to talk at all actually or offer any advice about anything. Hidden charges all over the place, £15 for each spa use (3 hours for inside pool & sauna), pay for towels, safe for room etc (approx 3euros per day). Pillows are awful. Food was ok - desserts were the best. Hot good was average, breakfast is basic. Hardly any staff speak English and they will tell you that upon approach which is OK really but would be ideal if they could direct you towards anyone who can. Entertainment was not great 9-11pm its on. Overall though an enjoyable stay, very clean hotel lovely smell throughout and cleaners were so friendly

    Solo holiday made better by staff

    This was my first solo holiday and I was overwhelmed by the kindness and attentiveness of some of the staff particularly when they knew that I was traveling alone. Pedro who works in the bar is by far the hotels greatest asset. Always smiling, addressed me by name and took time to check I was ok.The hotel as a whole is beautiful, extremely clean and my room was cleaned daily and towels changed as needed, and the bonus that the milk was replenished daily which isn't always the case in some hotels. I was all inclusive, the food was generally good, and always something that I liked. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, the only criticism would be that food was not always hot. The pictures of the pool are quite deceptive as it as not as big as it looks, and it was absolutely freezing even when the sun had been on it all day. I only managed to go in 3 times! Plenty of sunlounger.The hotel is quite isolated from the small town and as it was dark by 8 pm I didn't really get to explore much (it was too hot to go far in the day) but it was nice to relax and have a chat during the evening.
