  Great holiday!!

  We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel truly welcome — a huge thank you to Hiba, Carmelo, and Suzana who were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and throughout our stay they were always on hand to assist with anything we needed, which set the perfect tone for our entire holiday.A special mention also has to go to the bar team, particularly Alome and Natalia, who were simply outstanding. Their professionalism was evident from day one — they crafted incredible cocktails and drinks, clearly taking real pride in their work. What made them stand out even more was how attentive they were, always checking in to see if there was anything else we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble.The whole atmosphere they created at the bar made our evenings truly memorable. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already thinking about coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great holiday with exceptional staff. Thank you to the whole team — you made our trip!

  We stayed with my grandparents. Hiba and Suzane at the reception were welcoming and professional. The room was sunny and comfy. The food was varied and staff gentle . I totally recommend hotel beach in Tossa. Very good relation quality-price

  Rooms very small but practical Bathroom lack of lighing and extractor fan causing lots of condensation and no light over shower/bath area Balcony outside light not working Food poor quality variation was same each day cook was cleaning bay marie while food in service .When we arrived Reception not available waited 30 mins to check in Aircon none existent although we left it on all day and night didn't make any difference. Hotel very clean and well presented Told hotel closed last day we were here at 10am so need to leave at 10am flights not till late pm never told this when booking so we had to sit around the town with our suitcases all day.Walled village and castle very good.Coffee in resturant aweful coffee in bar excellent. Bar staff very good too.Noticed smoke detectors in room flashed every 30 secs to show operational which flashed all through the night but our last night noticed it didn't flash so assume it had been shut down day before as hotel was closing at 10am which I feel is a bit of a risk to take while guests are sleeping in the rooms Overall wouldn't stay here again maybe it was due to end of season but overall experience was bad

  Do not listen to the negative reviews. If you are an average reasonable family you will enjoy this holiday. We were all inclusive and had 2 vegetarians in our family who found plenty of things to eat. The staff are so kind and helpful and work so hard, they do not treat the British worse than Spanish holiday makers as some reviews would leave you t to believe. The hotel is so clean there is always someone cleaning working hard on the boiling heat. It is ideal for the beach and beautiful castle on the beach a lovely resort. we have been twice now and enjoyed it thoroughly.

  Lovely holiday in good hotel Tossa De Mar Costa Brava

  We have just spent ten nights in this lovely large modern hotel in Tossa De Mar. Our rooms were large and spacious with brand new furniture and beautiful bathrooms with showers over the bath, plus sink toilet and bidet. Even a hairdryer. The wardrobes were large and the beds were comfortable. Plus there was a dressing table, chair and small fridge in each room. Sliding doors led on to a small balcony overlooking the pool with table and chairs. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. Everywhere was immaculately clean in all areas of the hotel. Sunbeds were all brand new and there were plenty for everyone. Reception staff were really very helpful and friendly and even helped me sort out issues with my smartphone. Air conditioning was free. We took our own travel kettles, teaspoons mugs and glasses for our rooms as these were not provided, though if you are booked in all inclusive, drinks are free. Otherwise it was 2 euros for a cup of tea or coffee and 2.5 euros for a large bottle of water. We booked half board so had breakfast which was from 8 am and evening meals at 7.45 am. For all inclusive, lunch was at 1.15pm. Food was buffet style for all meals and there was a huge selection for all tastes. Yes the canteen is in the basement but it has windows, is light and airy and immaculately clean. We are really fussy with food but always found things we liked to eat. I particularly enjoyed the salmon, the pizzas, the lasagne, the spring rolls, melon and fresh pineapple, salads and desserts. Evening entertainment consisted of a DJ playing music in the bar and disco dancing but we went out most nights after dinner. The music stopped at 11pm so we were not kept awake. The hotel lift worked well and there were ramps for disabled access.The hotel is situated in the middle of a long street of hotels and shops. We used the Condis supermarket and the bakery across the road for provisions for lunch, drinks etc. The beach is at one end of the street 5 minutes walk away. 2 sunbeds and umbrella cost 24 euros per day and there are toilets nearby. There was a pharmacy near the hotel, paracetamol are stronger and cost 4.5 euros a small pack. There are cafes and restaurants at the other end of the street, we particularly enjoyed the Chinese. The bus station is 15 minutes walk away and we took a bus to Barcelona which cost about 25 euros each return. We travelled from Gerona airport on the shuttle bus which took about one hour. However the shuttle buses do not take you direct to your hotel but just drop you at the local bus station where taxis are few and far between, so you have to find your own way there. Same with pick ups to go home. So allow 30 minutes to drag suitcases and find your hotel.We loved our stay, the place, the staff and the hotel and hope to return again next year. There are two sister hotels opposite each other, we stayed at the red building labelled Tossa Beach hotel and hope to stay there again.
