    Poor

The only good thing about this place was the bar manager Abde. The only member of staff throughout our entire week stay who made us feel comfortable and welcome. That man deserved a massive pay rise! He has amazing work ethic and is absolutely outstanding with the guests. Not many other staff speak English so the language barrier was hard. Staff was very rude to my young children telling them to go away at times. The place seemed to be heaving with older folks who become absolute savages come meal times. I’ve never come across such a large amount of rude people in the same place. We found a lot of food on the buffet wasn’t labelled so we wasn’t sure what we was actually eating which is worrying for those with allergies. The main thing served the whole week was a selection of fish or pork steaks which was impossible to chew on. We payed for all inclusive as a group of 10 guests but found ourselves paying to eat out a number of occasions because the selection of food served seemed to be the same most days. As a family on holiday, we wanted the full experience so we expected to stay downstairs in the hotels bar area where there was a few arcade games for the children and a tv screen mostly playing football but a nice little area to sit together and watch the children play. The times the bar stated to stay open until was 12am yet most nights the younger ladies on bar staff decided they wanted to close early. Luckily the bar manager arrived and we confronted the closing times they had told us and Abde made sure they would serve us until 12am. Had he not arrived our nights would have been cut short massively as there’s not much else to do around the area. There’s a Palacia Dor entertainment room but again, every time we went over it was full of older folks dancing.

    A Magic Experience

    rating08 Apr 2026

Came here for 4 days with my son. And fully enjoyed the experience. The food was exceptional, and with all the magic hotels located nearby. We managed to use their facilities. The weather for this time of year has been great too. I advise anyone that is debating it to just come and experience this for yourself and the kids.

    Pensioner City

    rating07 Mar 2026

We booked this holiday as a group of 4 (2 couples) originally with Magic Games, but 8 days before the booking we were transferred to Magic Sports because Magic Games was no longer open on the dates we’d books 7 months prior. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly but that’s really where my compliments end. We were very unlucky with the weather, with consistent torrential rain so we can’t blame the hotel for that. But we can blame the fact that the facilities were experiencing leaks and power cuts even during light rain, with floods of water and puddles throughout the bar areas on multiple days. In March, you can consider the resort a pensioners retirement village, with enough rude old people that will stare you down if you’re under the age of 30 or dare decide to try and use the facilities that you paid for. The outdoor slides and pools do not open until June, so you’re stuck with a cold indoor pool which is under the previously mentioned leaks during the rain or an indoor “spa” with lukewarm hot tubs and a small indoor pool that costs €2.50 each for 45 minutes of use even if you’re on the “all inclusive” package. The food is… edible, usually. However, it is really dependent on the night, but the food isn’t normally labelled correctly or at all. The dessert’s are usually still defrosting during the dinner service. There’s no main entertainment if you’re not native in Spanish so remember to bring a deck of cards. I really wouldn’t bother unless you’re fluent in Spanish and not bothered by about 1000 pensioners.

Last-minute cancellation after final payment request – disappointing handling

    rating23 Feb 2026

We had a confirmed booking at this hotel for 4 guests (half board) from 27 February to 1 March 2026.Timeline of events: • 2 February: Deposit processed without issue. • 24 February (morning): Final payment requested / authorized. • 24 February (evening): The hotel informed us that due to an alleged “IT system error” the accommodation could no longer be guaranteed. • Arrival was scheduled for 27 February – just three days later. The cancellation was therefore extremely short notice and occurred after the final payment had already been requested. No equivalent alternative within the same location and with comparable meal conditions was offered directly by the hotel. We had to reorganize accommodation urgently via the booking platform, under significant time pressure. What concerns me most is the sequence: requesting final payment and then cancelling on the same day. Even if a technical issue existed, this suggests serious internal process weaknesses.I am not reviewing rooms, facilities or location — we never had the chance to experience them. This review concerns the handling of a confirmed and partially paid reservation. For a 4-star hotel, I find this level of reliability and communication disappointing.Travellers should be aware that even a confirmed booking may apparently be cancelled at very short notice.
