Location

This comfortable hotel is located in the middle of the Islantilla golf course. The resort is around 1 km away. The beach, only separated from the hotel by the quayside is within 800 m and restaurants, bars and shopping facilities lie around 1 km away.

Facility

204 rooms, including 95 suites and 97 double rooms, are available to guests in a 4-storey main building and an auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The bungalow complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 3 indoor and outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area, which is in part heated, also has a children's pool. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the complex ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, golf, paddle tennis, fishing and horse riding. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking and diving or, for a fee, water skiing. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. At breakfast and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Golf course is good, 3 nine holes, good challenge. Problem is down time, see picture of TV with English channels. Not the most important, but down time or travelling with partner who’s not a golf player and weathers 👎.. not a lot going on locally between October and April. Oh, you do also have CNN 😓. Note: Twin rooms, smallest single beds you can imagine!!     Third Time Here & Still Love It!

    This was our third stay here and it seems like the hotel and rooms have been refreshed since the last time. They treat their Hilton Honors guests very well, we got upgraded to a nice suite with a balcony overlooking the golf course, free breakfast and parking. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. We tried the Faro Buffett Restaurant in the hotel one night (it was tapas night, focusing on seafood), and it was very good. Breakfast was also good with lots of options and a nice vibe. I’ve read previous reviews that say if you don’t play golf or tennis don’t come here - but I strongly disagree. There is lots to do here - it’s walking distance to miles of beaches and shops and restaurants in the Isla Christina area, as well as hiking trails - and the hotel is a good home base if you also have a car to visit plenty of attractions within 30 mins drive. You will not run out of things to do. This property is very well-managed and its Staff really care and make this a special place!     One week of golf, half board mid February and it was fantastic.     If it’s sleep you are looking for stay somewhere else. Was Woking at midnight by what I thought was a noisy guest next door. At 1am there was arguing on a phone call really loud so I banged on the wall. At 2am there was banging so I got dressed to see what was going on. It was a workman in the room next door. I asked if it was an emergency and he said no it was routine maintenance of the air conditioning!!!! I went to the front desk and amazingly he maintained it is normal to do this through the night!!! At 2.15am he suggested I could swap rooms which I declined.In the morning at check out I asked to speak to the GM but he was too busy to deal with paying customers but was promised a call. 3 days later nothing so time to post. Shocking experience.     Another fantastic week at Double Tree Islantilla

    This was our third time at Double Tree Islatilla, small group of 4 golfers from Scotland, had a great time, played 6 rounds of golf, couldn't fault anything. Greens in great condition, found all staff in hotel & clubhouse friendly, food was varied and decent quality. Weather was amazing. Already booked to be back in May 2026, looking to return yet again in October 2026.
