2 single rooms and 37 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     Excellent hotel with helpful staff, nice rooms and a good breakfast. A parking garage close by and a nearby plaza with many fine and reasonably priced restaurants.

    We had a very nice, spacious twin bed room as were travelling as friends. Very clean. Got safe battery fixed and good as included safe. Had shower gel (although needed refilling!) shampoo, handwash and handcream. Had bath and shower arrangement, which I prefer. Also a minibar! Good shutters too to block out light and also aircon. TV modern and good size and free WiFi. Lighting in room nice too. Sink plug was faulty but a minor detail. Staff were very responsive and helpful. The buffet breakfast was first class. You can order also cooked breakfasts as you wish in addition. Only drawback is whilst parking is next door, it's charged for so we parked elsewhere FOC 13 mins walk away after Googling "parking gratuito" in area. Thought there was a bar in hotel but there wasn't but no matter as place is heaving with nice, very reasonable bars and cafés. There's one just opposite if weather bad that is dirt cheap! All in all, I'd highly recommend. We stayed for 2 nights just to see nearby Cádiz. It's perfect for this whether by ferry, bus or train.

    I agree with the positive reviews, but we stayed one night in November, a quiet time when people were not sitting outside late at night. Apples at reception, bikes for rent and cycle route maps, a pretty breakfast room with lots of choice, step outside to a street of restaurant choices - what's not to like? We strolled with our carry-ons to the ferry for Cadiz, enjoyed wandering the town at night. Staff kindly stored our bicycles (it was the last stop on our Pueblo Blanco villages bike tour). PS: Fun to see storks nesting on the rooftops of the church and castle. Columbus sailed from Puerto -hence the name "Santa Maria". Much to enjoy here.

    Good hotel with some noise from the street

    Good, hotel with some noise from the street as there is a bar just outside the hotel. Very central. Only a short walk to the coast, to restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarket, shops. 10 minute walk to Bodega Osborne. You can find free street parking 10 minutes walk away. Hotel is "just the right size"! Big enough to have facilities as a gym, sun terrasse, 24h reception, but small enough to to have a nice quiet (internal) noise level. Room had a good size, had minibar and airconditioning, furnitures and look to the square outside. Nice size bathroom. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

    Clean, comfortable, good value hotel in a brilliant central location. Perfect for a base in the area. Hire bikes were also a major bonus. Maybe it was just the end of season (or us!) but the staff, although professional and helpful, weren't very warm or friendly.
