Location

The apartments are situated in the Playa de Gandía area, approximately 350 m from the beach. In the complex’s close vicinity guests will find restaurants, shops, etc. Gandía city is some 3 km away.

Facility

72 apartments are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A laundry service and a coin-operated laundry are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable indoor temperatures. Some rooms have a balcony, which gives guests additional space for rest and relaxation. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms can be booked. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A minibar is provided. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station.     Not worth the money, we booked directly with them and was advised that there was air con, parking and Wi-Fi and that the apartment would be cleaned weekly. Well on arrival we were told the parking space would only fit a small car so we had to park on the street, struggling to find a space everyday. Beds were not made and only half a toilet roll was left in each bathroom. We were on the 8th floor and we couldn’t connect to the internet, when I enquired about this they told me they only had cable internet, when they showed me the cable it looked like something we would have used 10 years ago. The air on was only in the living rooms and with temperatures reaching 37C that didn’t cut it so we ended up moving the mattress to the living room to sleep. The keyless entry to the building was very temperamental. The pool was small with limited seating/ sun beds, looked old and scruffy.We stayed for 10 days and our apartment was not cleaned during our stay, wh egg n I asked about this I was told it was only cleaned at the beginning.

    The ‘luxury’ Internet rental from hell

    My husband and I frequently travel to Spain from the United States, often renting on our trips. On this particular trip, we rented from Mar Blau Apartments in Gandia (Immobiliaria Mar Blau with website marblau.info), looking forward to our stay on the Mediterranean.Sounds lovely, right?It would have been, if it hadn’t been for the surprise we found upon arrival at their “luxury” apartment rental. Actually, make that surprises — plural.The problems we discovered upon opening the apartment we rented included:✓ Several beds were missing cross bars, and one even collapsed.✓ Broken nightstand drawers that were literally falling apart.✓ Loose tiles in the bathroom that were sharp and missing grout.✓ Dirty floors, towels and linens, and even waste left in the toilets.✓ Two non-functional door handles that would not lock on each bathroom.✓ Lights in the bathroom worked sporadically, and made sparking noises.✓ The buzzer code did not work so if one of us went out, we had to wait for neighbors to let us in the building or call for someone to come down to the gate to open the door for us.Don't rent with them. We left earlier than what I paid for and did not get a refund for the nights we didn't use. I got nothing but bad responses from their Commercial Director whenever I called. I emailed their management twice after I left and never received a reply.The last resource I have is to file a formal complaint with the Valencia Generalitat.
