  My husband and I had four additional days that we needed to stay in the Malaga area before we could fly home after our 2-month vacation in Spain. I was looking for something that was in Torremolino, which isn't too far from the airport, that wouldn't break the bank and hopefully would give us an ocean view. I reserved a room at the Apartment Buensol and I was a little concerned when we got there because the place does look old from the outside and I had read some reviews that said it was tired and run down. However we were extremely pleasantly surprised. This complex was inexpensive; $692 all In for four nights. I don't know if all the rooms have been renovated or not but we were in 504 and it's definitely been renovated; you can tell the flooring is new, the furniture is new, the bathrooms been overhauled, equipment in the kitchen is new and certainly adequate although the kitchen is small. We were very pleased. One thing we always look for in a place and rarely find is reasonably comfortable furniture; usually the furniture is so inexpensive and either flimsy or just plain uncomfortable. This place has two bucket chairs and a couch that is reasonably firm. Also the chairs in for the kitchen table are wide and sturdy enough but yet lightweight, easy to move around. There are 4 plastic chairs and a plastic table on the balcony that are more than adequate. The balcony is very large actually and you are looking directly out at the surf. One other thing I think this is nice is that there is a window that opens in the bedroom, so you can hear the surf at night.

  Noice problems from the construction work opposite the hotel

  Don't even know where to start (even when I'm stucked here for the next 9 nights...)My first review: would definitely not recommend this unless you are travelling for only sleeping. We had booked this for our 15 nights stay with pre-payment through Agoda (a bit over 80eur/night). 1) Once we checked in it sounded lovely. We got an early check in with a comment that the room has just been renovated. Lovely; ten points for that. But then, the story continued (three times upon the check-in conversation): "Remenber to take good care of it!" My reply was simple: " Yes, of course".... And ok, the room was nicely renovated after knowing the hotel from four of our previous visits during the years. 2) After settling in, it came very obvious on the first day that there is a major construcion work right opposite the hotel. And when I write 'major' - I mean that the noice coming from there disturbed all the enjoyment. Not a minute quiet moment from 8am until 6-8pm. No matter if we stayed inside the hotel room with all our window or balcony doors closed. And where was the relaxation at the pool - nowhere.3) I wrote a feedback to the hotel and Agoda; telling that I'm very unsatisfied. No reply. 4) Wifi is uncertain. Sometimes it works for approx 30min at a time - sometimes no connection at all.5) My only thanks at the moment goes to the man renovation the rooms. I've already asked him two times for help. The first time was that the screw holding the curtains on the ceiling was almost falling - and the second time: the kitchen drain was leaking. Luckinly he was working at a room on the same floor and helped me as soon as asked. Thinking now; if I had known all of the noice problmens beforehand I would not have paid 80eur/night. I would have chosen another hotel to enjoy my vacation in peace.

  Just back from our third holiday in buensol apartments which are constantly being updated, we find these apartments are spotless may not be 5 star but their service is, its so convenient to everything our special thanks to all the staff and especially to Anna on reception for being so helpful. We will definitely be back again this year. William and Margaret Lafford

  Return holiday to these apartments the apartments are spacious and refurbished great balcony overlooking the sea great location thank you so much to all the staff but especially Ana in reception you made everything so easy for us and a huge thank you for the beautiful pastries on the 4 November for my sisters birthday they were absolutely delicious 😍looking forward to returning next year 🌞🌞😎😎

  Staying at Buensol,have to say apartments are lovely staff receptionists,household,groundsmen all lovely,Shane's Shack is a must brilliant atmosphere food amazing each member of staff have a unique strength which makes them a fantastic team both behind the bar and in the kitchen.
