  Well-located hotel with a view

  Stayed 4 nights here; check-in was speedy and efficient. Our rooms had a lovely sea view and that’s the first thing we would look at in the mornings, and the last thing too, before drawing the curtains at night. Amenities are complete and sleep quality was excellent. The temperature in the room was pre-set to a rather warm 24’ C, so we had to lower it. Breakfast buffet is extensive, and varies every day. Fitness center is spacious, with a large pool. There is a delightful jewelry shop on the ground floor, run by Mr. & Mrs. Chang. Take your time here, have a seat, admire the jade jewelry, inspect the pieces carefully, and feel their coolness against the skin. Once you have made a selection, bargain respectfully with Mr. Chang.When the deal is done, he might even offer you a cup of tea, and Mrs. will handtye a cord for your pendant or gift you with a small ring.

  Good place to stay for a few nights in Xiamen. Rooms were spacious and very well equipped, staff courteous even when sometimes quite busy with other customers. Pool and fitness centre well above average.The location of the hôtel is decent too, a 5-10mn walk from the main pedestrian street Zhongshan Road (中山路) along the river. The view from the rooms with a view of Gulangyu is worth the slight upcharge.

  Excellent stay in Swiss Grand hotel Xiamen.

  Very Nice hotel close to the main shopping streets. Spacious and spotless room with sea view oppositie Gulangyu island. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast (also for Western people). Will certainly come back and strongly recommend this hotel.

  Enjoyed a four night stay with my family over the Easter holidays. Rooms are very well-maintained and spacious. We had a room facing Gulangyu Island — definitely recommend booking a room with a view when visiting Xiamen. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Housekeeping was efficient and friendly. Not all reception staff spoke English so we’d recommend using a translation app if visiting. The breakfast buffet good value if you’d like an inclusive breakfast with your stay. Location was very convenient and a 10-minute walk to the historic Siming historic district.

  Great business hotel. Clean, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. I reccomend downloading a translator app has language is a problem. Otherwise a pleasant stay ! I will be back next year for my next business trip. The hotel restaurants are great.
