  The rooms are basic but perfectly cleaned. Small kitchen area to make coffe and snacks. Beds and bedding good. Bathroom small but with great waterpressure and temperature. Manager super nice and good instructions to get to out room after midnight. There are noise issues so avoid if you are a light sleeper which we are. Therefore we will not be back. Good price and the best view with balcony towards the beach.

  Basic but very clean Fantastic location right on the beach! The most spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Lovely welcoming staff. The town is right outside your front door 15 mins walk along promenade is torremolinos and walk 15 mins other way to Benalmadena Marina. Had a really enjoyable stay . Couple of things to make stay better hooks on bathroom door to hang towels, furniture pads to stop noise as at times really noisy. Would definitely return.

  Lovely apartments in fantastic location. We had a gorgeous sea view. Even though it rained for our entire visit we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so helpful. The apartment was perfect for what we wanted. We loved it and will definitely be back.

  The apartments are in a perfect location, right in the middle of lovely La Carihuela on the beach. We paid extra for one of the 6 sea view rooms, which had a fantastic view and we enjoyed watching the sun come up from the comfortable beds and gazing at the sea. We also saw bats and parrots from the balcony. The other rooms overlook the buzzing pedestrianised square and all balconies are great for watching what's going on below, with a table and 2 chairs. There is another table and chairs inside if the weather isn't great. The area is quite lively, in a nice way, so there is some outside noise, but with the windows shut, it's really quiet. Air con and heating that works really well.The kitchenette is small with 2 cooking rings, toaster, kettle and full sized fridge but it's fine for preparing breakfast, lunch and drinks. Washing up liquid and cloths are provided, but no kitchen bin, just the small bedroom and bathroom bins. Perhaps a central bin could be provided near the lift or near reception for bottles and kitchen waste? A minor point though. The room was otherwise spacious and was cleaned and towels replaced nearly every day by the lovely lady who let me practice my Spanish with her. The staff are really friendly and will help with anything they can. I left a few items to dry on the back of a chair one day and when we returned, a washing line and pegs had been provided. Email communication before our stay was very good. Tips - Taxis cannot drop you right outside, so check the map beforehand. Reception is only open 10.30 - 2.30, so if you're arriving outside these hours, you will need to get a code to enter the secure building. If you have time between checking out and your flight, there are no communal facilities to use to freshen up etc., although you are able to leave your cases. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again. My only negative was that people smoking on adjoining balconies wasn't very nice when we were eating, but this is the same in most places.

  Plazamar apartment no holiday money taken from account

  Unfortunately I cannot rate the apartment can only rate my treatment. Booked through booking.com for one week received no confirmation number or PIN number and despite contacting by email 9 days prior to intended dates received no replies. Froze my card as worried about situation but had to unfreeze for necessary payment and had €710 taken from my account by plazamar apartments despite never having had confirmation of booking. Spoke with Carmen who blamed booking.com. Booking.com saying it’s apartments fault for taking money. After numerous phone calls to international numbers and messages by the dozen. I was told my email and number was wrong. This is untrue as I screen shot the booking details on the date and my details are and were always correct. After several attempts at getting my money back for goods not received I have now initiated legal action as this must have happened to others. Extremely upset that I was charged by plazamar when it was obvious I had no idea booking had gone through was able to get Carman to give me her reservation number which she admits is through booking.com on her side. Therefore would be reasonable to assume that she should have dispute with booking.com not the customer I have attempted to contact and discuss situation but to no avail. Disgusted that I am out of pocket and received no holiday through no fault of my own not to mention getting the run around now have very expensive phone bill from being put through to many international calls with no resolution 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
