    Misleading Photos and Poor Value for Money

    We were planning to stay here as a family of three in a two-bedroom apartment. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and the staff at reception were polite. We were given apartment 6021, and at first everything seemed fine.However, once inside, the disappointment was immediate. The apartment looked nothing like the photos shown online. The furniture and interior were old and worn, the cleanliness was questionable, and overall it did not match the value for money we expected. When we mentioned this to the receptionist, she simply said that all apartments are “standard like this,” which was very surprising given the pictures used for advertising.We felt completely misled by the online presentation. It’s unfortunate, as the location seemed good and the potential was there, but the accommodation itself was far below expectations.We left after first night and requested money back.

    False advertising. My room looked nothing liked the photos on the website. Cracked balcony tiles. No air con in 2nd bedroom which was tiny with no cupboards only 4 small draws. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen area looked very worn and in need of a make over. Bathroom towels were thin and worn. Would I rebook? never.

    As with previous reviews I have read for this hotel I would say that the apartment was a bit tired looking. The pipes also made noises when the water was turned on.However, the thing that really let down this hotel was the room cleaning services. It seems that this has been outsources so probably the route cause of the problems on top of the management who did not really care that we had problems all week.The cleaners visited every other day and on most days did the basics with floors still looking dusty after their visit and on all occasions we had problems with the towels not being replaced correctly. We had to go to the hotel reception every time the cleaners had been to get missing towels, replace the hand towels for bath towels or on one occasion replace the dirty towel left for a clean one. Also, we were staying for 10 days and after a week we had to ask for our sheets to be changed. I do not think they were intending on changing the sheets for the whole visit.On top of everything the kids were even told off by the cleaners for using the the tap outside the apartment to wash their feet after coming back from the beach (we assumed that the tap was put their for that purpose).Facilities outside the apartment were ok and location was good for us as we had hired a car.

    Nice quiet spot away from the busy areas

    Great holiday spot and close to all the popular areas. However the hotel/apartments are very quiet with a chilled atmosphere all around. Restaurant on site is amazing and would recommend. The pools are great, especially the kids pool for little ones under 7 - although probably due a refurb though soon… would recommend

    We went there in May 2024. We planed to stay 2 nights but we ended up extending many times.When we arrived at the reception, Isabel was checking us in and we loved her humour, profesionalism and also her good mood. She gave us a peaceful room where we enjoyed the beautiful weather on our terrace. Isabel and Ioana were very helpful with any information we needed during our stay there. Thank you so much! :) There are 2 supermarkets (one on the left and one on the right side of the hotel) near by - just 2-3 minutes away from the hotel. It was a great morning walk to buy fresh fruits, fresh orange juice and water. We spent our time exploring the cities near by and we didn't use the hotel facilities much. We went one time to the outside pool and few times to the gym. At the pool was peaceful and the gym clean. The hotel has a great location and not far from Marbella and Banus where we drove quite often for food. There is also a beach (Cobapino - I guess it is the name) - 4 minutes away by car. Wild and beautiful where you can have a nice walk or sit and enjoy the sun. Some small things which we noticed in every hotel we've been in Spain was the unpleasant bathroom smell but with desinfectant can be eliminated. So we had a desinfectant spray with us all the time and we were fine. Problem solved :). The staff there and everywhere is doing it for you if you request it but we preferred to do it ourselves. It is something easy to do.Every 2nd day the cleaning staff is asking if you need fresh towels and have the garbage removed. In the bedroom's capboard are fresh bed sheets and they also change it for you after few days. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom drawer or in the bedroom cupboard. There is also an iron and a small ironing board available in the room. The apartment was spacious for 2 people and we had 3 terrace. We appreciated very much the wash machine. It was helpful and kept us clean. There was one long pillow for 2 people. My husband is carrying his own pillow with him all the time so we didn't have to share the pillow. If you want separated pillows you might talk to them and surely they will find a solution for this. The personal we come in contact with was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Vime Hotel. For our needs was just right and we look forward to our next visit.
