Location

The hotel is centrally located in Jandia, 250 m away from long, fine sandy beaches. Shopping and entertainment facilities are nearby. It is also close to the original fishing village of Morro Jable with winding alleys, local restaurants and bars (about 2 km). The international airport is about 80 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 150 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of the rooms. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests.     We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The location is fantastic — just a 3–5 minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach with toilets and showers, where you can rent an umbrella and two sunbeds for only 15 euros a day. Nearby there is also a beach gym, a slide area for small children, a playground, and even a whale skeleton which our kids loved exploring.We travelled with both a toddler and a teenager, and before arriving we were slightly worried about the food because of some reviews we had read. Thankfully, those concerns disappeared immediately. The all-inclusive buffet was excellent every single day with a great variety of food: fresh salads, meat, fish, seafood, themed evenings including Asian and Spanish nights, plus good wine and beer. Snacks were also available throughout the day, along with free and discounted alcoholic drinks.Our flight was delayed and we arrived after dinner service had finished, but the reception staff kindly arranged for the kitchen to leave food for late arrivals. After a long journey with children, this honestly saved our lives because we were absolutely famished.The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional and made us feel genuinely welcome. Patrizia at reception was especially kind and helpful. She answered all of our questions about the Jet2 pickup location and even called taxis for us in Spanish whenever needed. We also requested a room change, and the staff did everything possible to move us to a neighbouring room which made life so much easier with the pram and all the equipment for our toddler.The entertainment team also deserves special mention. Leo, who led the daily pool activities, was incredibly friendly, encouraging, and great with guests. Our son had an amazing time joining the pool games and the ping pong tournament.The cleaning staff were also incredibly warm and friendly, especially towards our toddler, which we really appreciated.The hotel itself is not huge, which actually created a very relaxed atmosphere. There is a large pool for adults and a smaller pool perfect for toddlers, and it never felt overcrowded so we could always enjoy our time by the pool.One small thing worth mentioning is that we expected there might be more organised activities for very small children, but the mini club was not open during our stay. We assume this may be because the full season starts in June, although we are not completely sure.     Fantastic stay at Fergus Cactus Gardens

    Well where do we start . Just recently had a 10 night stay at this hotel .On arrival were greeted by Khalid and Pablo who were very inviting, friendly and professional. We were very quickly checked in and pointed in the direction of the bar whilst rooms were sorted .Rooms were very well appointed, spacious and immaculate with great views of the beach at Morra Jable .Hotel was very well situated to all local amenities, bars , restaurants. 10 mins walk to the stunning beach and lovely walk to old harbour town of Morra Jable .Restaurant had a great range of food suited to all nationalities with plenty choice .Staff at Cactus Gardens what can I say , second to none and a credit to this hotel and really was an integral part of us having a fantastic stay . Luis, Iones, Roberto, Julio Cesar , Sophia and couple of other girls whose names didn't get but these ladies and gentlemen become great friends and went above and beyond to cater for our every need without second thought and will be missed .6 th floor has lovely sunbathing terrace as well as a rooftop bar .Please don't hesitate to book this hotel you certainly won't be disappointed.     Amazing 11 day stay

    Just wow. From arriving to leaving, we all had an amazing time. The staff are an absolute credit to this hotel chain. Khalid on reception so welcoming, bar staff very friendly, nothing was a problem for any of the staff, the beautiful, funny, entertaining Sophia, lovely person. Leo (Animation), works extremely hard to entertain guests day and night, a what a great job he’s does. We stayed in a junior suite, very spacious with large balcony, separate bathroom with large waterfall shower. Kettle and fridge in rooms, tea, coffee, sugar supplied. Location great, beach 5 mins walk, shops and supermarkets just around the corner, we went into the old town which had lots of restaurants and bars. There is a local pub around the corner called ‘Oasis’, they play great music. Old town is a walk but only 5 euro in a taxi. Food, there is always something for everyone. Rooms are kept clean daily, beach towels are provided with a deposit and they will change them whenever you want, deposit is returned once you return the towels. Floor 6 is a sunbathing, jacuzzi area which is nice and chilled. Daily activities and acts on a night time which were really good also. Drinks are good, local drinks consisted of vodka, white rum, Malibu, baileys, beer, coffee, water…..something for all. We have had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel.     Here now on holiday and the place is really lovely. Room, Pool, bar area and dining room all very clean. Staff are all very friendly. I would also like to say a big thank you to the hotel for the anniversary card and bottle of fizz left in the room for our arrival.
