  A few minor issues handled with ease

  I stayed here while driving across Canada. This hotel was nice and quiet. I had a few minor issues but Tracy was very polite and helpful. I felt like I was always acknowledged and didn’t feel like a bother. The rooms themselves are quiet and spacious. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area

  Good hotel, easy parking and decent breakfast

  Stayed for a couple of nights on our way to Alberta. Clean hotel, nice pool and easy parking. We had a slight issue at check-in as it was booked through our holiday provider, claiming they they hadn’t paid (we’re not sure why, but this is the only hotel this happened - and we stayed at 5 in total). - but sorted quickly and parking was free and convenient. It’s a little distance away from the town centre but plenty of stuff around it like a shopping mall, supermarkets etc. Lots to choose from at Breakfast too. It was a good ‘no-frills’ sort of place to stay.

  Frustrating… smoke detector going off right after checking in, called down and they sent up someone to change battery. I had my dog with me who is sensitive to noises. No pet relieve area, had to walk quite a bit to find grass. I used digital key to check in but had to interact with front desk to get change. Waited over 5 mins to get attention of front desk who were chatting to the back office. They have a guest coin laundry machine which was appreciated as I was driving across country.

  Modern hotel, with large clean rooms and friendly staff.The free breakfast is rudimentary, but pretty much as expected.Recommended

  So let's begin with what was wonderful. I enjoyed the room it was clean while somewhat dated carpet, and bedframe wrapped in fabric but overall very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous with a smile. The location was ok, save for the fact that the hotel across the street could see in the window, but blinds took care of that. parking was adequate at best, as there were not enough stalls for all that were staying there. And now for the serious failures. while this hotel is happy to charge you $35 plus tax for your animal to stay in the room with you, they are not happy to provide you with anything that your animal might need. like a simple piece of grass to be able to relieve itself. We had to walk quite a distance just to find a simple piece of grass. if a hotel is going to charge that much money for the animal to be able to stay in the room, you would think that they would at least supply a simple piece of grass, yet there was none to be found. I don't mind paying for my animal to be able to stay with me, but it doesn't seem right that you don't provide for the animal's needs. I don't expect you to give them a bed, I don't expect you to give them food or dishes to use, but a simple piece of grass when you have that much space on the side of your building is not too much to ask. Or better yet, don't charge for for animals if you can't provide anything for them. Save for the heat the animal would have gotten the same service staying in the vehicle.
