  Short walk to centre restaurants

  Firstly, to clear up the review of 18.09.16 Entry to the hotel door is by a security fob. Residents are issued with a room key and fob on registering. Thus maintaining who enters the hotel part of the building. Due to the number of rooms the reception is not staffed 24/7. Exit from the hotel is via the bar/restaurant connecting door. Hotel has a lift. Automatic hallway lights. Spacious room (room 3) No kettle in room. Large, comfy bed. Large walk in shower. Although room to front of building there was no evident traffic noise. Clean throughout. From bus station:- turn left from front entry. Walk 400 metres to square. Turn left.   Poor and Rude Service / Mal Servicio

  My family and I spent a night at Hotel Estacio. We arrived in the late afternoon and noticed the entrance was closed and had to access the hotel via the bar (same owners) - no indication at the door that we had to do this. When we introduced ourselves the owner took a good while to guide us to the "hotel lobby" and give us the keys. I thought he was going to give us the keys immediately after so I called for the lift, and he rudely snapped at me saying that I should calm down, and that he had to explain a few things before heading to the room. I was extremely shocked how he spoke to me, as If i was the biggest pain in the world. I understand he had to explain things and hence my calling the elevator was not necessary, but there are other ways at talking to your guests, particularly when they had been waiting for quite long already. Otherwise the hotel is very new, comfortable and simple in style. Very convenient but with nothing special either. I felt the treatment was terrible and zero guest attention.El hotel en general esta bien - nuevo, muy practico y comodo. Lamentablemente, el servicio fue terrible y el señor que nos entregó las llaves fue muy maleducado y grosero.

  Modern, nice and quiet hotel.

  Hotel with modern, functional, clean, quiet and with all required rooms. Conveniently located and friendly service. On the ground floor there is a bar to have breakfast.To give some point to improve: the wifi signal in my room was very weak, it would be nice to have hands' soap in the bathroom and for the price there could be a simple breakfast (coffee+pastry) included.Despite these details, easily solvable, I recommend it and when back in Olot I will repeat.

  Warm and welcoming hosts, great little hotel.....

  Hotel Estacio is a genuine little gem. The delightful hosts (Diego and Montserrat) have little English, but more than make up for it with genuine warmth and willingness to help. The hotel is modern with simple, clean and uncluttered 'Scandi Modern' decor. Rooms overlooking the river (as we had) have a lovely view. Warm reception, great breakfast, real people.
