Location

This brand new hotel is located beside the Caldes de Malavella, a spa destination on the Costa Brava. The resort centre and the train station lie about 5 km from the hotel, whilst Girona, with its diverse selection of shopping and entertainment venues, is 20 km away. It is 25 km to Lloret de Mar, 40 km to France and 85 km to cosmopolitan Barcelona. Costa Brava airport is 10 km away and El Prat de Llobregat Airport some 110 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 149 rooms, including suites and 148 double rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind.     Camiral was easy to get to but felt like a world of its own in the best way. The hotel is well appointed and the grounds are beautiful, there is a ton of biodiversity so you can see many small animals across the property. The pool is lovely and a lively scene. The golf courses are a big reason people visit and are world class, but even if you don’t golf there is much to do. The wellness center offers innovative treatments I have not seen at other hotel spa facilities. The staff is helpful and kind. It’s close to Girona which makes for a great day outing, it’s a small city but with much history and authenticity.     3 night break at a super relaxed and luxurious hotel. Friendly staff, great food and service. Free room upgrade which was fabulous. Pool area clean and quiet. Good selection of food at breakfast. Ate at the Bistro, in the bar and at the clubhouse. All nice food. 2 superb golf courses and pro shop with everything you need.     Nice hotel and beautiful location, but some disappointing issuesI stayed at Hotel Camiral for five nights. Overall, it is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The decoration is stylish, the rooms are pleasant, and the location is absolutely beautiful. The golf courses were good and the overall setting is really impressive.However, there were several issues that were disappointing for a five-star hotel.The Stadium course was under full construction during our stay, yet we were charged the full price. There was no prior information about the construction works, and no reduced rate was offered. I believe guests should be clearly informed in advance and offered an adjusted price when facilities cannot be used as usual. That felt unprofessional.Additionally, one morning there was no hot water, so I had to take a cold shower. On our last day, we received a message informing us that from 8:00 to 14:00 the water supply would be unavailable due to sanitary disinfection works. For a five-star hotel, this is simply not acceptable, especially without proper anticipation or compensation. I will be discussing this with the manager.Service at reception was inconsistent. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others were less welcoming.In summary, the hotel itself and its surroundings are excellent, but the lack of communication and service issues were disappointing. With better transparency and guest care, the experience could have been much better.     Good golf, overpriced corporate Hotel.

    We stayed a group of 6 at the resort for 5 nights in October 2025. The golf was great and the courses well maintained. The hotel was far from meeting our expectations. Its overpriced compared with what you get. Average service and food. On top of that we received horrible service when it came to our itinerary - the concierge told the group that we were unable to play the last day, as we needed 4hours to get to the airport due to traffic. This resulted in us missing our 8am tee times. We assumed that we would get the green fees dropped or at least discounted, but they did not accommodate that wish. We gave notice the day before, or as soon as the concierge shared this information. End result was EUR 800 we needed pay and it ended up taking 1.5 hours to the airport - meaning, we could have easily played. The staff is very in-personal and it feels like you are dealing with a corporation rather than a service minded hotel. Not staying there again.
