Location

The hotel is located in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Farners, only a short drive away from the centre of Girona and from a number of interesting sights in the province such as the Rutas de las Hermita, which is only 1 km from the hotel. Situated in natural surroundings, it is ideal for practicing a large number of sporting activities as well as for relaxation. The popular coastal destination of Lloret de Mar is approximately 35 min away by car. Guests will find shops in Girona and Girona Airport is only 10 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 4 junior suites, 3 suites and 78 double rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. A wide range of indoor sports are offered, including table tennis or, for a fee, a gym, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Went to this lovely hotel for two of my best friends’ wedding. The team did an incredible job and the wedding was truly beautiful. Food was also fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful, and pretty much everyone speaks Catalan, Spanish and English. Besides the wedding, one of the highlights of my trip was my massage with Carme. She was very good and knowledgeable. I have scoliosis, which she recognized right away and had helpful tips to manage my pain. Not only was she a great masseuse but also a lovely person who I very much enjoyed spending time with. I am hopeful to return some day and see her again. It really was one of the best massages I have ever gotten. The entire experience was extremely special. Highly recommend a stay or event at Mas Sola.

    I would have given Hotel Mas Sola a 5 Star rating, however, the biggest disappointment was the quality and limited variety of the food in the Cafe and restaurant. Again, the Hotel Staff are top notch so we extend a SPECIAL THANKS to Lorenzo, Vanessa, Olga, the waitress in the breakfast dining room (we forget to get her name), the housekeeping team , owners, and all of the staff who made our six day stay at this hotel in Girona, a wonderful experience.

    Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is very nice and welcoming, there's a good vibe. The facilities are really good, nice spacious bedrooms with super comfortable bed and great view. The spa is very cosy and has a good circuit. I had the massage package with Carmen and she is amazing, I went out very relaxed and happy. The restaurant has amazing food, we took the degustation menu really worth the while. And the last day we took bicycles from the hotel and went for a nice ride in the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. Very recommended for a romantic weekend escape outside of the busy city

    The grounds are very beautiful, however it's next to a main road which kind if ruins the peace and quiet. The spa is small, but it's OK. I wouldn't reccomend coming just for the spa, you could be disappointed. It seems the kids have a special timetable to use the spa, but unfortunately they don't leave when their time is up. The staff could check that more although I know it's the fault of the parents of the kids and not the hotel itself. Trying to have an afternoon nap was not successful, due to the drilling going on nust outside my door, but upon calling reception they soon stopped drilling so that wasnt a problem, it just seems a little rude, especially as people come here to relax. The bed is comfortable. The balcony doesn't have a light, so you cant sit outside on a night time because you can't see anything. That's a real shame. The breakfast is OK. If you want to have a drink on the hotel terrace nobody comes to serve you, and there's nobody in the bar area either. I was waiting 30 minutes and finally decided to leave. Staff are lovely, very polite and helpful, although they could explain things a little better and offer information about what kind of routes you can do, bikes to rent etc. There was no information at all in the hotel room. Very strange, however this may be a Covid protocol. Lots of mosquitos! At the pool side they bite you even during the day. Bring spray! Lots of flies around too. I ate at the restaurant once, tried the special menu they have on offer. Personally I didn't think it was that great for 45€. Extremely expensive. You couldn't possible have lunch and dinner in the hotel unless you are coming with a lot of money. Luckily, there are supermarkets outside the resort so you can get some salads and drinks to keep in the fridge. The pool area looked beautiful, however I wasnt very lucky with the weather so didn't get to spend much time there. Would I come back? Maybe. But overall it's extremely expensive, 5 star prices for 3 star quality. I think there are nicer and cheaper spa hotels to visit.
