    A bit better than it looks

    I want to be very honest. We stayed three nights On first impression my heart sank. It looks very run down. We were cold but asked for a heater so that solved that problem. It’s clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Don’t bother with breakfast it’s very poor and on our last morning breakfast wasn’t available. There’s a good place for coffee and simple snacks directly facing the hotel. There is a pretty garden but the weather wasn’t great so we never used it. I think this is a stopover for coach trips staying over night so it’s very noisy in the evenings so you may need ear plugs. I probably wouldn’t stay again but observed its purpose for a short stay

    Worst hotel stay ever. Pathetic.

    Terrible hotel. Dirty. Tv from the 80s. The worst thing is that it is on hop of a club that throws music until 5am. And the police can’t do anything. They won’t even turn it down a bit. Crazy. Avoid at all cost, there are better solutions around. Insane experience.

    Very homely and friendly hotel.We have been very good here, and they have provided us with a room change that we needed.Acceptable dinner at an affordable price.The only downside: we were on floor 1 and there was a lot of smell of food, which was a bit annoying at times.     Two Night Midweek Stay

    I was in the area visiting a customer and decided to book the Montsoliu. Upon arrival I was charmed by the building and the decor, a truly boutique hotel. The Owner was friendly and gave relevant recommendations for the area. My room was large with a small balcony. Bed was comfy and the shower when switched to the larger fitting was perfect. A small continental breakfast was my only eating experience and that was a perfect start to the day. A lovely part of the world that I hope I will continue to visit

    Good old fashioned stylish hotel

    If you want to escape bland, plastic, boring modern hotels, then try this one. A lovely old building with a good modern room/bathroom. Decor adds a touch of something different. Car park. Located right at bottom of High St. Avoid if you are chain hotel sort of people otherwise enjoy this different sort of place.
